Thanks for the wallpaper 🎉
Thank you!
Thanks
@VelianSpeaksmi say I have a virus site and I have the s24 ultra
The current configuration appears to be satisfactory. My personal preference is to set the level to 2 of Vividness 😅
That is indeed the sweet spot, level 3 is too much. I also tweaked the RGB, overall happy with it
Lol yeah the 3rd setting is definitely insane! 2nd spot is definitely amazing and best!@Ang_R17
I'm very happy with the update for the vivid setting, I find it beautiful to look at. 😊
My s20 still looks better
@@redcrimson1028I don’t argue with that because after all it’s a samsung panel we’re talking about, even their midrage devices has good display.
That's what I was thinking when I made the comment , the way my S24 Ultra colors look after the update reminds me of the way my S20 Ultra used to look. @@redcrimson1028
@@redcrimson1028 Keep dreaming.
You wish you had the S24 U.
@@redcrimson1028 I had a note20 ultra. It did NOT look better than the s24u after the update. Ur just mad.
Man, I just was waiting for this video. You are the best! 🎉🎉🎉👌❤
I'm happy to help! Also, I am happy with the new vividness model, brought the old vivid back.
@@VelianSpeaksTech Do a review on the grainy screen of S24U.
Did that already
Best comparison test I've seen of the new update so far. Thanks for the video!
👍
Really great the best comparison video i've seen but can you confirm when you compared me S24U to tje S23U with your wallpaper was the vividnes at the maximum or in the middle 🤔
[QUESTION] Were you guys able to watch QHD / 4k HDR content on S23 ultra through for example Amazon prime video?
I try everything so far and I still only manage to play it in full hd resolution with no HDR indication ;/
What are yours experience with this ?
Best comparison video I've seen so far. I will now buy s24u again will confidence 😊
So, how about it now?
@@aktchungrabanio6467 I went back to my s23u. Screen more colorful and more brighter in 90% of content. No regrets
Great video VST , please talk about the grainyness problem 🙏🏻 looks really bad looks like jean / sand/ grainy/ noisy texture when looking the screen on gray colour(like the settings app in dark mode) at low brightness, try watching the screen in a dark room , Samsung must listen and fix this !!!!
Is this still exist after February update?
@@thibhanukaof course, it's a hardware issue, not software
@Swole_Gecko well fix the hardware then
@thibhanuka idk , I only know that if we complain too much, someone gonna show us again how it Is after updates and Samsung may do something to fix or if people don't seem to care they gonna sell us the same problematic display on s25 too , like they do with shutter lag every year , you must complain guys its the only way to make this big companies to stop selling Less for more money whatever the problem is it must be fixed at the price of 1k+€ it's unacceptable
@@wheelyflac i know, i replied to the other guy to let him know a software update won't fix it.
As a person who used Natural mode it didnt bother me at all. ❤ But man you’re so good!
Please help if i try to watch hdr content it get a yellowish look
does this update fix the grain issue people are having with s24U displays?
Maybe not
I have the galaxy s24 ultra I was not hapoy with the colour i put in in to the advance settings it helped a bit however it still not right in end of may 2024 HELP
why y'all ain't do the gradient tests? That's where my S24 still fails spectacularly after the update. so much banding, doesn't matter if it is in natural or vivid. 2 of the Base S24 are both the same. This means I'm still not getting all of the colours I should be getting.
"ain't"? really?
Interestingly s21fe has better vivd colors. It looks more amoled screen in the same config
i thing is the HDR do to the color Contrast yellow. in pc i try to ajust the Contrast is BLUE + WHITE.S24 U i try it ,it now update is white+blue, but in the app(ebay,paypal...) is white+blue+yellow(grey)maybe...but i thing is ok 🤔
Has anyone noticed that the screen looks a lot of noise? It will be obvious if we see a video with a lot of color gradation / color bending
: The vibrant n saturated resolution is a basic need for a smartphone....it is what pops the screen to the eyes..
S24 being a premium phone, this issue mustn't exist for a " Flagship " phone of 2024...😅
Its not even funny 😂....
S24 ultra display still washed out a little bit I'm keeping my s23 ultra I'll wait for the s25 ultra or s26 ultra!
Same exactly 💯.. I thought my vision it's bad, because most people after the update said that is a huge upgrade!!!! Samsung really fuc..d up the display...
I want the vividness slider on my S23 Ultra too 🥺🥺
Im too!! Samsung must this implemented on one ui 6.1 if not maybe xda development helpfull roms. I think.😢 if Samsung not implemented this settings I never buy next samsung. Vivo and xiaomi the best. And has 1inch camera sensor!
Still don't get the update :'(
Ita gonna be soon, don't worry
@@VelianSpeaksTech i know, nice video brother, keep the good work!
I thinks only small amout of vividness 😂 still dully looking with my samsung s24 plus compared to my s22 plus...lol
Wait 25 Ultra 😢
Still isn't as vivid as s21 ultra, note 9, note 20 ultra. Downgrade

@@VelianSpeaksTech thanks so much 🙏 💓
ÜPDATE :)))))
I dont see anything differently, it must be me
Are you kidding? It is June and watching videos on the S24u is still not as contrasty as on my note 9 only in full manual it is brighter but not better. wtf. S24u is a scam? Is your S23 broken? How come I can't see any "better" in youtube watching on my Note9 vs S24u?
The difference is small.. still washed out colours.. still grainy display.. my edge 30 ultra display is miles better my friend.. i wanted to replace with s24 ultra i bought it already.. and here I'm complaining about this piece of sh....t !! The best company that makes screen's???? This is best worst display.. my 4 year realme gt has better display..
I switched to this phone from iPhone 13 pro max. After 1 month of use, I can say this phone is a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT, especially the camera. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
W R O N G
It's only slightly vivid. There's barely a change. I updated mine and it's only slightly vivid. I'm starting to think that the hardware was designed to be natural and the natural colors was intentional, just like samsung said when they stated they wanted the colors to be natural. I guess we have to wait for the s25u if want those full, vivid colors back.
Así es y una de las causas del antireflejo ,de ejemplo tengo una laptop Lenovo con ese antireflejjo y su pantalla es apagada, seguiré con mi s21u
there's nothing natural in white being gray, they just messed up and called it 'natural'. yeah right...
You're full of it, just say you like a display that looks like a cartoon
@@cesarpaz96tu no tienes el S24U asi que no tienes idea de como se ve
grey whites isn't natural, they messed it up they just won't admit it. they are releasing these 'updates' to make people think it was just a minor software mistake, and not a complete mess up as it is. it's an expensive phone but next to almost any flagship display looks like a 150 bucks phone from 4 years ago.
What about the Brightness..my S23U is brighter then the S24U..anybody else exp it also?.
I should have kept my S23U....
Also i hope another conpany makes a good anti reflective tempered glass for it.
Still adaptive brightness problem i must use max brightnes to rich the brightnes from s23😢😢
Hay que activarle el extra pero también gasta bateria
Thank you bro for this one
S24 Ultra display is So bad & Disappointed when compared to S23 Ultra
True, still in June same crap
There is something more in this new update that I noticed which most people did not notice yet. The charging speeds of S24U with 45W Samsung adaptor in 30min earlier was about 65% and now it is 71%.
Just those who turned back their phones for a software bug 😂😂
Can you please answer this question for me
Obviously when eye comfort is on the vivid enhancement doesn’t work I am aware of that. But my question is since the update is the eye comfort ON with Enhenced comfort provide better results than vivid/advanced?
In this video you seem to show this option works better in s24 ultra and then s23 ultra
So I am wondering if update fixed the display do you think the eye comfort also improved compare to before? (Or produce better results compare to Vivid option)
I really appreciate your comment
Very good clip here, one of the best I have seen on this topic, thank you
i just buy Galaxy A55, i noticed my screen is not as vivid as My other samsung S21 Fe :(. are they going to be fixed like this?
Absolutely nailed it.Great video
Tnx man
very bulky and ugly phone s24 ultra. I really want to buy this phone, I soon as I got it in my hand I can't, and I really need to upgrade my note 10 plus
s23 ultra looks more smoother than s24 ultra
1 tap is like S23 U and max S21 U.. i set it middle 🙃 I was already used to the original version.. but now there is a choice.. this translater is poor.. näyttää kääntävän miten sattuu näitä 😂 finnish langue is so easy translate 😵💫
You done a great job
Tnx mate
I doesnt show the vividness slider on my phone. Why is this?
You need the new update
If these washed out colors are Samsungs "new trend and intention towards more natural look", why didn't they announce it while presenting the device ? It's kinda misleading to customers not to say a word about it. But using their phones for 7 years straight, I'd say it's their error. "Fixing" it with updates and endless debating if it's "fixed" or not just shows how much respect they have for customers. This display problem alone (not to speak about terrible camera performance) should not be acceptable at this price range. It's no wonder they sell less and less S devices every year.
Thank you for posting this video about the washed out colors update.
Well done
Didn't change any of the settings. I like the more natural look.
Good for you, I'm glad it came back I love to have control of the brightness.
Who cares?
@@Drayonis you🤷🏾♂️
@@mrcasanova3686he obviously doesn’t why do you think you’re smart?
Nobody fucking cares
Is good to have options
I saw Display Vividness on a few S24 Ultra phones, I saw it in stores when I tested it, there was barely any difference in color saturation, I don't know what it depends on, in one S24 there was a difference visible and in another one it was barely visible and I don't understand why Samsung introduced this function only on s24 ultra, not the s23 series, because in some copies there are washed out colors after updating to ui 6.1, the same features that will not be introduced on the s23, that you can set the resolution yourself in old phones like s8 or s10, there are better colors than now in new smartphones from Samsung
I had a S10 Plus and even with this update the S24 plus is still less vivis than the s10, sometimes it looks better because feels more natural but in game where you want enhance colors it definetely makes a difference for.me the s10 is way more vivid, anyone feels the same? For the most premium cellphone it sure could be more vivid
ok, my questions is, why dafuq apple dont have this option? iphone my iphone 15 pro max it's so washed compared to any fucking android, not just samsung, maybe my only choice, is back to samsung 24 ultra.
Thx for the video ❤
I received the update yesterday evening and I can strongly say that after update it fix the vividness issue. Now we have even more vivid display with 2 options
The update has a marginal impact. The S24 Ultra still quite washed our compared to my Z Fold 3, unfortunately.
I hope Man Samsung implemented this settings on s23/s22 series. Im disapointed. Soo much oversaturated my s23u. 😢 I love natural colors, but if i change settings to Natural its washout . Definitley not natural. And vivid soo much. 😢
Great update indeed...
Finally a working fix I have found ... My samsung galaxy s24 Ultra screen is now alive
After I played with the vividness settings I went right back to the way it was before the update. I confirmed that I hate unnatural looking displays, particularly where photos are concerned. I'm sure some like fake color, but not me.
I think it matters how you set up your camera. To me the whole time your S24 U looked vivid to ultra vivid both times surpassing the old gen.
Still adaptive brightness problem on s24 plus i must use max brightnes to rich the brightnes from s23😢😢
If you download activity Launcher you can search color adjustment and you can make the display vivid on s23 that settings was removed
it's for us s21Ultra
I don't use the vividness slider on my S24 Ultra. The first time I tried it and went outside to take pictures everything turned red-green and then the sunny parts of the pictures turned way yellowish, I put it off right away.
Same problem with A55
HDR in only available through dedicated TH-cam app or will work through Brave browser?
have you checked the background step issue in the weather app - is it gone with this?
My phone was fine man idk why I updated my battery dies quicker now
Why my A55 doesn’t have this 💀😢
Obdate 😂
so at what vividness level we need to rise in s 24 ultra to match s 23 ultra vividness ??
Why some complain so much just return it or do something about it.
samsung s23 ultra best because samsung s23 ultra white balance is better samsung s24 ultra white balance bad
Then decrease the screen temperature from the settings, and then if you turn on the vivid mode the screen gets colder.
Thanks dude ❤❤
No f...cking difference
Damn that antirelfective glasss just awesome 👍
People here are happy with the new vivid option and they see it as a new Samsung feature, when in reality is just Samsung fixing a bug which shouldn't have been on the S24 Ultra at all. This frenzy is similar to Apple bringing USB C to its iPhones, which they didn't do it because they wanted, but because the EU regulations forced them to do it, but in the iPhone 15 Pro Max presentation, Apple showed the USB C thing as a new feature and an inovation. What a joke!
It's really a joke, brother. There was a problem with the S24 Ultra and an update was released for both the camera and the screen to fix it. The S24 Series has a magnificent screen.
It's a fix for a bug.
Missing functionality ≠ feature
Who cares?
It's not "fixing" when it wasn't broken. They brought back some more unnatural Vivid settings (notch 2 and 3) while retaining the more natural but still boosted setting (notch 1) that is still the phone's default. They made a conscious decision to bring the S24 line up to modern standards where the colours don't look like a Fisher Price toy. But now, at least, one can choose to go back to that look if one wants. Perfect solution.
Heellloo i liked the multicolour dark wallpaper .. plz suggest app
Samsung ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is one of the best video on this topic. Yes, I have seen 100s at least
I was bitchng about the wash-out colors, anxious waiting for the update...now I realized wash-out colors look a bit more natural. Human beings are not meant to be understood. 😅
Is it not that it looks more natural but is just that you got used to it? I think.
THNAK YOU
Doesn't work, it's a hardware issue. The colors on the S24 Ultra are total ass. I wished I still had my S23 Ultra.
It really doesn't work? It works for me if I put it to the maximum and it becomes very beautiful, but I still keep it on natural, when I drive to Geometry Dash wrapped I put the vividness to the maximum to pierce my retina from the explosion of colors. 😂
@@tartanele5984 nah bro, you just got used to a inferior screen. If you would check it with the S23 Ultra you will see it clearly. My brother has a S23 Ultra and it's clear as day. The AI is trash too, you don't need it
@nuclearwinter391 Have you tried to make comparisons with hdr images? those make the most of the screen maybe to the maximum
The colors are brighter than those of my Galaxy S3 Mini so maybe that's okay.
150th )
I have s24 ultra for a week.. Trash display 😡
Do you talk about the flaws? I'm even there, but I like the natural colors.
I've discovered flaws in my screen, maybe no one will ever notice.
How about camera is there any change?
Yes there is. Watch other TH-camrs they explain it
How are the cameras? The vividness is not really my concern at all, but what concern me the most, is are the cameras improved?
Too early too tell, can't see too much now
@@VelianSpeaksTech Thank you. It appears my initial leak was correct.
the new full vivid mode is equal and the same as S21 Ultra Vividness.
Judging by Reddit posts, camera performance remained pretty much the same if not worse.
I prefer a natural screen like an iPhone
No
@@haze_the_alchemist1123 Yes
But does ur unit also got the grains over grey screen?
It does, I believe.check the previous display test videos.
@@VelianSpeaksTech I will try to verify if it's a pixel issue or glass issue this week.
Does it still play in HDR when you turned the vividness off or to half way ?
it was never an issue, people are just not used to a colour accurate display
Or you didnt use an OLED before. S24u is not in the slightest better than my Note9 watching videos. This is fing ridiculous.
I change phones every 12 month Last phone was the s23 ultra, pixel 7 pro , oh and I'm also do graphics so I know what a calibrated screen looks like, before the update the gamma was near 2.2
Shut up
why do the yellows still seem greenish?
Such an expected and basic feature of s24 ultra....too pity that samsung needed to remind to do the fix....
I still cannot believe samsung remove vividness from top of the line flagship in the first place
white's still gray, display still sucks.
I hate this phones display!
The colors are awful, and it became even worse after the update. I went back to using my S22 ultra.
That HDR in window function you marvel at, has been present on Huawei, Honor, Oppo or Xiaomi smartphones for the past 3-4 years. S24 Ultra finally has it although it doesn't have yet a 10 bit high quality display with 68B colors, or support for Dolby Vision. Still mediocre and overpriced.
Like your life
S24 ultra is the best phone i have ever used. Love it more than my fold 5 or any apple phone! Its a fame changer, i hope to see if i can keep it longer than my regular phone cycle. Bet it will still rock even after 3 to 4 years
All this nonsense by Samsung lol. Let's face it, the S23 ultra hasn't been knocked off it's perch at all and for me like a lot of others still king! People waiting for grainy looking screens to be fixed with an update which cannot happen lol. Even pictures look better on the S23 ultra. Don't believe me? Look for it on TH-cam...
I've got both and now my S24U screen looks better than the S23U.
It dose seem like some S24U have hardware issues with grainy screen, fortunately mines not affected.
I've got both too and am returning the S24 Ultra. S23 Ultra is still King
S24 ultra looks more vivid than the s23 ultra in display.
Nice joke
No it doesn't bro stop lying. I have the 24 ultra and it is not as vibrant
