Not only that but while souls may have gotten them on the global map for game development, armored core is one of their most foundational games as fromsoft, this is huge news all around to see a new one
I enjoy that kind of stuff much more now than when I was a kid so I'm excited to try it now lol. The game looks awesome, and if I don't like the customization I can look up guides and stuff to make it easier these days so it'll be great!
After playing through the game about 5 times I'm going back to all these reaction videos to relive the hype that ended up being so well deserved. What an incredible game we were blessed with.

I will say for Armored Core specifically, back in 2017 From stated they were going to keep Armored Core alive. And even earlier this year in January, a handful of people got a survey from From Software talking about a new Mecha Game they were building, so that leak basically confirmed Armored Core was happening. Still, it is EXTREMELY great to see AC6 finally coming officially and not from a Survey Leak or them mentioning it year ago lol
i've been repeating this for years, after ds3 released Miyazaki was interviewed and said they had three games in development, one ended up being Sekiro, one was Elden Ring, and the other, they only said, was a mech game. We all hoped against hope that that meant AC6, we FINALLY have our answer.

I never liked it. I get that some people do, but that sheer level of micromanaging takes up more of the game than the actual missions.

Armored Core 6 was mentioned by name on From Software’s website code back in summer. Not a huge secret but glad we got the official announcement now.
