I agree but two caveats here, sometimes women have bad experiences when they were the feminine, giving, peaceful women and it backfired on them, dealing with the wrong men. Then they become the feminine good girl gone bad type. It's all about a woman's life experiences, the worse of men we deal with, the more hardened we become. We then say screw it I'll be who I want to be and forget about pleasing a man, I'm going to please myself. Especially in the blk community, I believe they're are far more terrible men to chose from than decent. These men are professionals, educated lames but also thugs, doing women harm. So in our community, the women are a reflection of the men, reacting to a bunch of horrible men creating havoc. In response bw become masculine. A women can only be feminine in an environment where the men create an atmosphere for women to be feminine.
That depends on the masculine energy. I don't want to be interpreted as masculine when I am being who I am. If you aren't there to help me and I am putting energy towards getting things done then, I don't want criticism. I'm not critiquing my every action and being self conscious for other's benefit. If I am in concentration mode then I don't need to hear the "you're too aggressive" speech. Another thing, I've had people at work criticize me for my energy and they need to work on their energy. It's a task to get things done for the holidays but it's doable. The task itself creates energy that has emotions thrown about in the atmosphere. I try to understand that when it comes to management and corporate and truck schedules. But I don't want to be judged and told I'm not moving fast enough and I hate assumptions being made that I have to explain away just because they want to assume.
Masculine energy is not about how physically active you are. It's more about a mindset. It's the opposite of what we understand being feminine to be. For example if you look at two women in a lesbian relationship, one tends to be masculine and the other feminine.
@MsJoyce31202, I hear you... One way you can work on cultivating your feminine energy is by slowing down, especially mentally. Not being in a rush. Taking your time to do things like lotioning your body, washing dishes, lifting weights - as examples. If you don't feel you can incorporate this mindset on the job, perhaps make it priority to do so outside of work? Just a suggestion. :-)
