  • The impact of coronavirus has been shattering for families affected by dementia, like Gordon who is caring for his wife Susan at home alone. Urgent action must be taken to better protect people ahead of the winter.
As a result of lockdown and little support, we estimate that family and friends have spent an extra 91 million hours caring for loved ones with dementia. This has taken its toll. 95% of carers of people living with dementia at home reported a negative impact on their mental or physical health.
By dedicating a message to government, you can make them address the reality of lockdown for people affected by dementia. Share your reality of lockdown today.
