Guess each of these locks come with their own individual codes to enter for reprogramming as opposed to a universal 0000 which makes sense for safety purposes
I programmed it and locked it with the key and unlocked it with the new code. It worked well….until I went outside and locked it. The motor kept trying to unlock the deadbolt three times and then I got the three beeps and red operation light. My key wouldn’t work nor would the keypad. I’d unlocked the side door just in case this happened, but what if I hadn’t? It’s coming off and being replaced with a standard dead bolt. I can not recommend.
I can't get it to program the new code. Actually 3 people have tried and nothing. Can someone help? I tried call the company and it just rings and voice-mail comes on
This is a hideous video from Tacklife lock. The instructions are confusing and convoluted. The PC vs UC vs. Old PC or New UC. I've programmed many 'things' including door bells. This seems impossible. There are no real instructions from Tacklife on 'how to.' I'm not alone, check the internet and see how many have a problem. You can't reach Tacklife....
Couldn't agree more! Instructions are horrible. Must have stood outside for an hour trying to program this thing with no success and just gave up. If my place wasn't a rental I would have returned this crap
