Nice episode!
I think you guys might like using
glencairn glasses instead of the rocks glasses for these tasting sessions. Also letting the higher proof whiskies sit for a bit in the glass after opening let’s some of that initial alcohol evaporate and the nose won’t be as harsh.

Definitely enjoy the episode, here in NE and I passed on the 6/9yrs for $250/$500. Screw these liquor store prices, much rather grab a RR13 for $200 or Stagg Jr at ~ $100.
