The reason why I enjoy this series, is because I think of it as an else world story. I go into each DC TV show with that mind set, it helps me as a comic book fan.

i understand how you feel but honestly the comics have about a million different universes i really dont know why you have to see this as an else world story to enjoy it personally to me this is just another version the idea of doing a show about the characters before they become who they are is good but the problem is that can only be streched so far the villains keep this show alive what happens when they run out

The only two new villains confirmed to show up so far is Mad Hatter and Solomon Grundy born on a Monday lol. But I still think official Joker will make a appearance and they want it hushed up.

I am glad that you people are agreeing with me! Hopefully Gotham will feature him sometime in the future and hopefully they capture his multiple personality disorder well. They have been doing a good job in showing the severe mental disorders of the super-villains, so I am positive that they will do a good job if he shows up. :)
***** I don't know those actors, but I think that they might do will. Someone who is able to look completely innocent while having another evil personality within that is translated to a puppet. Toby Jones, from what I see, looks like he may fit the bill. Not sure about his acting though. I am not too familiar with him.

Gordon needs to grow the iconic mustache
This is when Gordan is still a young man and not old lol so it may be awhile before we see that. But I did hear he goes into a dark place this season and succumbs to darkness for awhile. With that being said its possible he may not take care of himself as well and possibly grow out some facial hair and such.
Superman on supergirl in season 2 first 2 episodes

Yes, Superman is officially now a character in Supergirl. He makes his first real appearance in the first 2 episodes of Supergirl season 2. Although my belief is they will have him for the epic 2 part 4-way crossover episodes they will be having of Supergirl, Arrow, Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow. I don't doubt they would include Superman for this epic event.
the actor is Tyler Hoechlin from Teen Wolf. Never saw the show or know who this guy is but he better not disappoint. They should have used Tom Welling

I honestly,this love the actors for Bruce and Alfred in this series,mans I legitimately want to see this kid grow up, work out, and become The Batman on screen someday. Unfortunately that requires time, and because of how this show handles things, the more time that passes, the more risky it's quality will be.
What I want from Gotham from the third season onward
1) Bring Gordon back into the GCPD, and more refreshed. Didn't like his character much in Season 2, much too hot headed and making too many stupid decisions.
2) Stop adding more and more characters. Especially ones that are unnecessary to the storyline of Gotham's history "Before Batman." For the Joker, go back to how it was in the first season: show hints of people who potentially could become the Joker (red hood, failed comedian etc.)
3) Less screen time or none at all for Barbara and the Galavans. Kill Fish, she served her full purpose in season 1.
4) More Penguin/Butch team ups, definitely more development plotlines for Nygma , Selina and Bruce/Alfred. Make some use for Ivy, give her some story in an episode at least.
5) Bring the mob element back to the show. What happened to the mob? We only see Penguin, but would be cool to see some more gang wars and confrontations between Penguin/Butch and other crime families. Surely Falcone and Maroni aren't the only mob families in Gotham.
6) At the pace that the show is currently going, have Bruce leave Gotham to do his training in Season 5/6. That gives time for Selina to continue her path towards becoming Catwoman.
7) Add in other DC villains later after developing the ones we already have. PLEASE refrain from adding any more villains that were obviously created and in their prime after the birth of Batman. It's too late for Mr. Freeze.. but do not add in the "real" Joker, Two-Face, Bane etc. Continue developing Ivy, Selina, Penguin, Nygma, the mob's rule over Gotham etc. What happened to the Scarecrow and Dollmaker??

jokers back, it looks like killer Croc is going to be in season 3 now mad hatter I laugh at those who said Gotham suckered and wouldn't last, gotham, legends of tomorrow and flash are the best live action hero TV series going today, krypton looks interesting, also arrow needs there original story writers back they are currently on flash, arrows gone way down hill since flash started.
I just love the fact that Morena is in both Gotham and now the X-Men universe with Deadpool.

Mad Hatter, Solomon grundy are confirmed along with Court of Owls as the focus from Bruce with a Talon assassin, Please make Mad hatter based of the 1992 animated batman series!!! They should bring in Killer croc somewhere near the end of season 3 and Jerome as the Proto-Joker, I really would like to see Ventriloquist&Scarface because by the time batman is around Ventriloquist&Scarface is retiring so it makes sense for him to be young and the next crime lord next to Penguin, Catwoman will develop as she finds Tabithas whip in Bruces mansion and learns to use it near season 8 or so, Riddler will start to make his costume and began to use tech to build his staff, and along that Mad Hatter will also learn and build mind control tech around season 5-6, (I might be wrong with predictions as they are not accurate) Jerome should be in the red hood gang and along Bruce as the Proto-Batman near the end of season 9 or so and thats where Jerome will fall in the vat of chemicals becoming the Joker, The kid that bullied Bruce (Hush) storyline will be around the same as the Jerome Red hood storlyine where he goes to university to learn surgery and become obssesed with Bruce and as he tries to inherit the fortune of his parents, Another childhood friend of Bruce (Black Mask) will also hate Bruce near while Bruce is a post teen and thats where Black mask will want marry his secretary but his parents dont allow as he burns the house down, I want to see Firefly recast into a male actor PLEASE!!! Its like having Catwoman a guy (Catman) or Poisin Ivy a guy, Speasking of which Posion Ivy will be seen in season 3 where I assume she will be mutated and have a poison kiss powers, I also would really like to see Clayface able to master his shapeshifting by being exposed the the chemical that Strange had used, Bane and Harely Quinn will appear when Batman develops a better suit at season 9 or so, thats when Harley becomes mad and follows Jerome as Harley, Bane will take the Viper/Venom drug for himself and challenge the bat at season 10, thats when Azrael with his modified bat suit will take out Bane and replace Batman temporarily until Batman recovers and Azraels recostumes into the red knight suit with flaming sword, I want to see huntress, robin at season 10, Also Killer moth is a must along with Owlman (Thomas wayne Jr, Bruce clone) who is the Anti-batman (See justice league crisis on two earths animated movie or read the comic Forever Evil), I also would like to see Maxie Zeus, the delusional genius who uses electro tech and have a similar costume from the animated series "The Batman" 2005
Something also tells me Bullock's "Cobblepot" might be on of the Indian Hill experiments

If you watch the season 2 finale, there is a quick shot of the inmates in Arkham and the mad hatter is there. You can see him quite clearly.

I can't wait for season 3
Its surprising that nobody mentioned anything about The Joker officially coming into the picture. It would be nice to see this. I mean near the end of the last episode for season 2 you can actually hear Jerome doing his Joker laugh again and if you look carefully you can see him walking off in what appears to be a bathrobe or something, probably a surgical gown but it seriously looked more like a bathrobe lol. But everyone I think wants to see The Joker more than anything and is the most anticipated villain. Even if Jokers name is supposed to be Jack and not Jerome, its still easily possible for Jerome to be Joker. Hugo Strange did the fake stories for all his experiments to make them believe they are someone there not just like he did with Azrael who by the way should not be dead....so I kinda hope he somehow survived that missile launcher blast. Anyway, Jerome could have gotten a story implanted into his head where he is made to believe hes Jack and this Joker type figure which technically he already was becoming in a sense before he even got sent to Hugo. Jerome himself said he wanted to always be a star and it seemed like he was leaning toward being a circus type star, like a clown. Which is what Joker mostly portrays as.
I also think its time for us to see more of Harvey Dent. We have literally only seen him in a few episodes very briefly and can already see that at times he loses his cool very quickly and seems to have two split personality aka Two Face. season 2 was supposed to be about the rise of the villains but there is still alot that have not fully become there villain self with Two Face being one, The Riddler being another although we have seen him slowly transforming but he is still not quite there yet, Selina Kyle who is still just a young girl street thug and thief but not cat woman(my guess is she eventually gets her hands on that whip that Gallivan's sister used. It looks alot like what Catwoman uses as her weapon and I believe at some point Selina gets it. We of course have not seen piper or pepper or whatever her name is...I forgot but anyway we haven't seen Poison Ivy become her. She is still way too young and hasn't really done much of anything. There are so many villain's who have not become even close to there villain self. Scarecrow was busy being hospitalized because he can't shut out the fear of scarecrows and sees it everywhere leading him to become obsessed with scarecrows and becoming the fear itself. But, it has not happened yet lol. Most of the villains are just way too young. The only true villains to come to light and pretty much fully develop is The Penguin, Mr.Freeze, Firefly, Hugo Strange who may have died but im not sure and he isn't supposed to be dead this early in Bruce's life, and than Azrael. But Azrael is actually supposed to be a good guy who later actually helps Batman out so....Azrael can't be dead. Its just not possible or there has to be another Azrael or something. But yea theres alot we need to see happen in season 3 since it didn't in season 2 like it was supposed to. We really need to see these villains rise. Become there true selves. Or at least more of them than we have. I mean doesn't everyone agree with me?

For me, Gotham is the only DC show that has been constantly improving so I hope they continue like this. The show's Alfred is probably my favorite version of the character in DC history, although he was also good in BvS.
Arrow has been on free fall for the last 2 seasons and Flash season 2 was quite boring for me. I can't tell how Supergirl will continue as it only had 1 season, but I hope the writing improves (a lot), and they also fix how Kara behaves. She is a hero, but the show has turned her into this weird goofy character that is mostly boring. Legends was just underwhelming. It was spectacularly annoying seeing those wannabe heroes fail again and again for weeks.
Except Michael Caine was probably my favorite Alfred

nope. Season 3 premiers this month. Galavan died (before he was ressurected) at the end of the first part of season 2. Then the second part of season 2 was about the monsters of arkham getting out by Hugo Strange.
imagine if they put in Bane, not like the dark knight rises bane, more like the comic book version with all the tubes and machines strapped to him causing him to b this overly buff guy

yeah, the show just gets campier and campier, but a dark comedy sort of campy. like a bloodier version of batman 66 without batman.
+Shiirow Batman always has campier elements in his books, even in the darker ones, i mean this is the guy that has a Batcave with an Artificial Dinasour and a giant penny in it.

Haha exactly man exactly. You always got to look for the hints and easter eggs. This is how I know Jerome will be back too. If you listen carefully enough you could hear him laughing like the Joker as he escaped the crashed bus and you see him briefly walking away with what looks like a bathrobe on and you see his red hair.

One problem I have with the show is that Bruce is not in school and is not getting an education which makes him an amazing detective. He should be reading books or being taught by Alfred not just fighting skills.
I think they decided that he should be home schooled, and Alfred will teach him. I guess they don't show him as much is because Gotham was pitched as a cop show.
