@@thecatholicman I don't think this is about faith at all, its about fear. The State is running things now, it doesn't do what the Church says anymore. The people vote, the government is appointed to run the State. If doesn't bow to the unelected Church anymore. I sense your fear, your afraid of the Census results, your afraid it will show a much reduced Catholic Church, your afraid the State will then press on with more policies the people want but the Church doesn't, as church is weakness is shown for all to see.
It seems like our Church will be left with just a small remnant which will rebuild her in the image of Christ. Are we possibly at the beginning of this Catholic renaissance ? St. Patrick, pray for us. St. Francis, pray for us.
Thank you Robert.May God have mercy on us all. Catholic Schools in Victoria, Australia are the same as you describe and have been so for years.. Mother Mary pray for us.
I'm sorry my friend, but if you do not donate money to Red Cross, or donate money to other organizations or you do not take matters in your own hands and you do yourself something concrete and real to help people in Ukraine... I'm sorry, but the mantle of your Mother Mary is not going to do anything. People help people. People change lives of other people. It is fact. Stop living in wonderland and wake up for real life!
Yes saw a newsfeed from "A Humanist page on Facebook" telling people not to put down the Catholic religion on it. A few people said they are not practicing Catholic but will put down on sheet that they are Catholic anyway.
In a way it's a good thing because it will weed out some of the lapsed Catholics who aren't religious whatsoever. It will give out a more accurate number of practicing Catholics in Ireland. Of course the bad news is we should expect a number lower than even the most pessimistic prediction. I'm not sure what the figure was at the last census but I'd expect it to be less than half of that this time round.
They should give an option for practicing Catholic and non practicing. This would help the church get a better idea of how many faithful Catholics they have to minister to.
Hello Robert, I enjoy your videos I probably agree with most of your views, but not all. I have a great love for all that is good in the Catholic Church. The decline in Irish Catholic is a tragedy, but there seems to be a link between wealth/income and belief
Hello noticed you at the 12 o clock Mass Saturday to day and you received on the tongue, But when it came my turn to receive the body of Jesus I was refused to much red tape .
Yes, I went to the section where the priest was. He just gave ok the tongue. I had made a promise to reverence the Eucharist, so I don’t protest or anything.
I challenged him, I went to meet him. I’m not “in bed” with anyone. He has his views and I have my views. Are you afraid of people having an open debate ?
It's a wonder they didn't put Islam before Catholic!
If 95% of people marked 'no religion' we might, at last be getting close to the correct number.
yes and people might actually try to understand what they think is the faith.

Pray the Rosary that the Holy Father will consecrate Russia to The Immaculate Heart of Mary as She requested in Fatima.

"Without God, man builds his hell on earth." Cardinal Robert Sarah.
It happens either way, now without virtue would be true.
Robert can you do a programme on the consecration of Russia to the immaculate heart ?
Brilliant idea!
I am proud to be a catholic, may our Blessed Mother Mary, put her mantle around your wife, and the poor people of Ukraine.

Yes, but it goes to show who is running the show in Ireland now!. Imagine if the Catholic Church managed to get the census changed in this way.

Dont give them ideas

No there is a link between not teaching the faith and belief. The faith is simply not taught

It sounds good to me, I will be ticking option 1.
Robert check your email tomorrow
Robert will you do something on the up coming synod?where a Catholic might stand
What is your relationship to "Bishop" Pat Buckley. You seem to be in bed with him a lot on his blog.
I challenged him, I went to meet him. I’m not “in bed” with anyone. He has his views and I have my views. Are you afraid of people having an open debate ?
