Did that first ring sell? I'm skeptical that one was worth more than a div or two. That second ring was seriously meh until the strength slam. You can actually do something very similar to what you were doing but without the 'crafting;', instead you look for rings with life, chaos res, high other res and an open prefix. Craft -mana onto it and it's instantly worth about double what you paid.
rings similar to this (without catalyst) cost 1.5div. catalysts (20x) cost would be another 2-3 div so you got a point but even if they wont sell for 9 it will still sell for much higher amount than i invested i guess them selling depends on how lazy people are with their own crafts and stuff which i believe a lot of people are
