Second, everything you said about labor & birth was FACTS!! I watched your first birth story for encouragement because I was about to I have 3rd child naturally but on my own terms (1st was in the hospital w/epidural, 2nd in the hospital naturally but chaos not what I wanted) so this time I wanted to make sure I had all I wanted (Doula, midwives,birth center) & when I say this time it was absolutely magical🙌🏾 watching your video’s & hearing how you said what you wanted & that was it encouraged me to do the same. Going through labor in a calm quiet environment w/ a few people there solely to make sure my every need was met changed the game. How ever labor was still tough I definitely cried twords the end (lost control), passed out while pushing (pain overwhelmed me) & screamed while I pushed…but then pure joy!🥰 My son was born at 7:11am at 9lbz 12 1/2 oz🤯. Great video. I had 2 kids all natural in hospital. I always tell people when you hit 9 cm the pain comes from all over you don’t know what to do. Honestly you feel like your about to die and then your beautiful baby pops out. 😂. I didn’t think I would be pregnant again. Here I am 15 years about to enter trimester 2. And I’m not sure if I could do it again. This video really helped me. We are made for this. Love your birth story.

Congratulations!!!! Yes, for my first child I went to my last check up and before my doctor could check how far dilated I was my water broke! He was almost 9 1/2 lbs and ate every hour on the hour! Now 27 years later he’s slim and over 6 feet tall! Two will be easier! I have 5.
My mom has 10 kids and I won’t be surprised if she has more.

We both gave birth for the first time in 2020, you were 2 months before me & it was also a girl 🎀 this year we giving birth again, I still have 2 more months to go😅 I’m expecting a boy this time around. Congratulations 💕🎊🍾🎈

14:07, this is a big factor for those considering a home birth. Maintain control as best you can because once you lose control it’s hard to get it back. I made it to 10cm and my water hadn’t broken. When I arrived at the birthing center they broke my water and I let fear set in even though there was nothing to fear. I screamed the entire time I pushed (less than 10 mins). It would have been much better if I would have just went with the process. I still encourage other moms to go natural. With my next one I’m going to go drug free again and remember to maintain control without fearing anything because God created women for this.

I really suspect that your pain is related to the short gap between babies as I also experienced the same and I am EXTREMELY confident that my body is in good shape. I was shocked by how difficult it was to carry baby number 2 who arrived 14 January 2022. I even had to see a physiotherapist to massage the pain. Number 1 was September 2020.
Yeah I think this combined with how big she was definitely made it harder!😩😩
I have a 10 year gap between my two children and the pelvic pain I had with my second was excruciating. Never experienced it with my first and both were over 8lbs.

What is the secret of not tearing? Am due very soon and am nervous about tearing since my last one lasted 7months to heal (and that was after a second surgery) I dont wanna go through stitches again
@@djsm9299 that sounds really painful 😣 I heard massaging the area with oils weeks leading up to delivery helps and a natural labor no medications since your body takes time and doesn’t speed up the process causing tears. Best of luck with next round xx
When they said to wait to get into the pool. They probably wanted to make sure the baby was born fully in the water. And not have a breath then submerge in the water when the rest of her body came out and when she was pulled up to your chest.
No my midwife said the pool can expedite labor so she wanted me to wait. But we all knew that babies either have to be born fully in or fully out of the water too!
