Socials of some players can not be found (players with default nicknames, some Asian players, etc). I am convinced that it's extremely dishonest to tag contacts of few people and not to tag all the rest, so there will be no social links in description.

Sol is top 5 but you’d think he’s the undisputed top 1 from how much people complain about him. I don’t see anything close to the same hate that the other top tiers like nago, goldlewis, and leo get. Try blaming a different beast sometimes, might spice up your diet a bit.
That said, the people saying that Sol doesn’t deserve scrutiny because he’s been nerfed a couple times are being disingenuous. Sol has gotten buffs nearly as much as he has gotten nerfs, and more tech has been discovered for him as the game as gone on, leaving his power level relatively unchanged throughout most of the patches (1.0 sol was pretty fucked up but that should be considered an outlier).
Nago and Goldlewis dont have a DP, and Leo does like half as much damage as Sol.

If the character has a DP, 90% of their playerbase will focus their gameplan around it. People really love DPs
Acpr Sol loves volcanic viper so much. That i couldn't perform air dash sidewinder. Even his old vocal theme says it I will do it again. Heck I able to pull off the 14th time volcanic viper in xrd with fafnir alone in training.
From a balance perspective, what is Sol's reason for having a 3f 5k? I can see chip having one because he's the fast character, and technically has downsides enough to justify it. Sol doesn't have any downsides? What does he lack which justifies a 3f 5k?
Tradition. He's had a 3 frame 5k since forever ago.
I imagine it kinda fits the idea of his character. He's suppose to be the, Imma get in your face and abuse my plus on block normals with fast buttons character. A highly aggressive character with slow buttons would be weird. Kinda like how I imagine gio and baiken with their 4 frame 5p too.

Well, Sol is still broken, a tank rushdown with mixups and lots of damage, and easy asf (atleast on low/mid level), spam f.S to the moon.

@@sinshenlong 7 nerfs, he went from top tier to top tier, yes, a “low top tier” but that's because of Sol has bad matchups against another top tiers like Nago or Asuka.
That doesn't mean that Sol is not broken, less broken than before, but still broken compared to the most of the characters.

Idk if you are new to the series or not but sol badguy is not ryu. He has always had a myriad of offensive and defensive options. Some of which are locked behind high execution techniques in every guilty gear. This is still the case in strive except not really because each patch they keep taking more and more away.
Clean hit volcanic viper damage and far s being plus has ppl so shook that they still calling for nerfs and it is laughable.
No disrespect to you or anyone who has only played strive but please look at matches from older entries of the series and compare them to strive when it comes to these characters before you call for nerfs. The returning roster is universally gutted as it is and instead of crying for nerfs everyone should be demanding more options and buffs on a system level or a character level.
Sol players think they're so good doing their free mixup off a blocked 6s. Such a highly skilled, 33% meter option.
