Leaving our hotel in Grand Junction, we drove on a highway south and then another highway east towards Delta, CO. It was so nice to see hills and plateau of mesas, the valleys, farms and ranches. After a lunch break in Delta, our drive became exciting as we drove up the Rocky Mountains.
