Mine came in this morning and it works! Game changer! Doesn’t actually give it WiFi but it acts like a bridge between the printer, laptop and iPad. It’s genius!!!
It's an absolute must have ! I wish I had this video when I got mine and set it up. Took me a few tries to get it right.. Thanks Drew for making it very detailed. I can now save it in my files in the event I need to trouble shoot on the spot.
OK, I just ordered mine. I feel like this is gonna be super easy. I have been trying to get the printer and the iPad and laptop all connected and it's just not working. I don't know if my signal is weak in my house but it's like I can't even practice because it's just not linking upso hopefully this will help me. Thank you so much Drew.
If I turn on the hotspot on my iPad and connect my surface pro with lumabooth to the (hotspot) would that work still? Or do I still need to use possibly a travel router?
does it works the same for my 360 videobooth? because when i shut down my wifi at home. it doesnt work anymore. In lumashare the green wifi sign turns red. So, when I go to an event venue and plug the router in a, it should provide my home WiFi so I can work, or am I misunderstanding that?

If I have internet at my event, why would I need this? Does it work with hotspots?

@@KZCharacters make sure your firewall is off on laptop and that you downloaded and ran the print driver

If your hotspot signal is strong enough, you are good to go.

I don’t think it’s actually giving it wifi. I think it’s more of a bridge that acts like a wifi. I don’t think you can actually use the web.
Does the router require a sim card? I've been using my nighthawk M1 for a few years, but it requires a sim card for internet.
