If you genuinely love football, irrespective of whether you like or dont like Liverpool, call it out cause next week it will be your team on the receiving end!! It is as simple as that.
There were many, many Spurs supporters who did just that yesterday and got slayed by Liverpool supporters instead, as well as every other bandwagon supporter who felt their opinion counted in some way. The sympathy level disintegrated very quickly when it became apparent Spurs supporters were being blamed for the decisions of the match officials.
And for that reason you shouldn’t celebrate that CL win.

As a United fan I obviously delight in Liverpool's misery, but I can relate to their frustration at Jones's red card - VAR looking at the worst possible still image, only in slow-motion, and completely disregarding the player actually getting the ball. We had the same last season when Casemiro was sent off for the same challenge, and Gusto did for Chelsea a few weeks ago. It's a dumbass rule that punishes the player for actually getting contact with the ball. It's reckless sure and worthy of a Yellow but they should not get red's if they actually reach the ball. Like, how TF is a player supposed to know exactly which angle his foot will roll in a split second after making contact with the ball.
So, you agree players have been sent off for similar challenges, right? Why should Liverpool get any special treatment? They should change the rule or apply it all the same. That "offside" though! 😂

It turns out THe VAR Guys were NOT paying attention and thought the Ref gave a goal,which seemed obvious so they did not bother with lines and only took 40 seconds to say "VAR check complete" meaning,of course, that the original decision stands(which they thought was a goal awarded!)
Actually crazy that Spurs needed a last minute own goal to win after playing 25 minutes against 9 man Liverpool. Big respect to Liverpool !

The first red card was a miss call, because Jones’ foot was rolling on the ball without a deliberate misconduct. The second red card was arguably a flop because Jota’s first yellow card was’t even a foul to begin with.
I'm an Arsenal fan but Liverpool were absolutely robbed, point blank period.
The 2nd red was appallingly bad refereeing. Jones unfortunately had to go, it’s how it is nowadays. Def robbed by terrible refereeing overall.
I recall the Liverpool fans being equally outraged last season when Casemiro was sent off for an identical situation.. (cough)

@@skrattaoppar9753 I mean there's is controversy with human error in things like penalties and I still can't believe the bochum dortmund penalty not happening was accidental but offside and gds the technical ones where there is no room for speculation have worked so far. But a german ref would also never give either of those reds, there's something we call fingerspitzengefühl and especially in a big match refs are supposed to give players the benefit of the doubt to not ruin the match 20mins in. The best ref is the one you don't notice and about whom you can't say anything after the match, I never have that in england, the refs seem to always want attention.

As a Spurs fan, of course I celebrated the dramatic win. But that offside call was one of the most insane things I’ve seen in a long time. Tottenham fans know how it feels to be fucked over by VAR and the referee firsthand, and sooner or later, everyone suffers from this shit. It needs to STOP. But it seems like it’s getting and worse in the premier league. More and more critical failures. Wtf is going on? VAR have to apologise every week now?! Ffs. I wan to see my team do their best against Liverpool under normal circumstances. If Liverpool wants it, I will gladly support the idea of a rematch as a Spurs fan.
