Ace of Base in their first TV broadcast ever..?

- Inspelat 25 september 1992 i ett lokalt program som gick i Göteborg via Kanal Göteborg. Detta var precis när de fått två låtar som 1a och 2a på den danska topplistan. Jag tror detta kan vara den absolut första TV inspelningen med Ace of Base.
This can be their ever first TV broadcast! It was done in a small TV show in Gothenburg 25th of september 1992. The local TV show was called Kraftstationen (The Power Station) and was a 2 hrs live TV show with top-10 chart, interviews, contests, live performances and people could come and dance in the studio on Friday evening.

@@sergeykoval9608 еще какие скандалы. Ждите документальный фильм, который выйдет очень скоро. У группы была череда неудач и опасностей. Просто не все рассказывают и многое умалчивают. Но конечно со временем все выяснится. Как обещают в документальном фильме, там будет показана темная сторона группы. Если вы настоящий поклонник группы, то поймете, что с группой не все так радужно. И возникает много вопросов. И да не только из - за ухода Линн. Дженни тоже досталось сильно. Например, когда ее поменяли на двух молодых девочек. А Дженни явно метила в поп звезды. По ней заметно, что очень ей хотелось. Чудом сейчас Йонас и Дженни, сохраняют группу. Ульф Экберг кстати куда - то пропал. Смешно, что про него вообще забыли все. Хотя никто не оговорился о его уходе.

I was in high school right at the time they came on the scene in Denmark. The DJ played 'All that she was' all the time at the local disco in my home town. Yeah, she has some amazing eyes.
Lynn seems to be a child at heart with an untainted, beautiful soul... That, combined with her mesmerizing eyes and mysterious voice, makes her a unique gem.

lol how did they save the 90s exactly? AoB was that silly band we all liked bc they had catchy tunes but we accepted they were bad singers, had repetitive tunes and we would dance them by force of radio spins. The 90s had far too many talents in a wide variety of genres, anything metal, rock, techno and rnb sounded amazing back then. Ace of Base was like Bananarama haha.

So sad to see this video again, where they're first showed up on tv, and then years gone by, until their band members already gone, and still left Jenny there, but there's no Linn again 😥😔. Luckily, they're family, so they still can meet each other anytime. Not like any band members that just friends, where they can't meet again each other sometimes.
I was 13 when I heard them for the first time in Colombia in 1993. I remember the first song i heard was "All that she wants". I bought their albums: The sign and the breadge. It was one of my favorite bands that time.
The Bridge. It's a great under rated album.

Those audience in Gothenburg were lucky to be watching live Ace of Base. The band was not well known then. The next coming months and years , their concerts were jammed packed with screaming fans.
None of that was actually live though. They’re lip syncing, and that saxophone midi controller wasn’t actually even used in the song (they’ve said before that to make the horn sounds they used an Akai Sampler, not the Casio horn midi controller). Also, he’s not really playing the drums, just pretending to. I love Ace of Base though, and pretty much everyone on shows like Top of Pops had to lip sync.

Then you'd probably better stop thinking and learn to get information: the single "all that she wants" stays at the top of the charts for 6 weeks in the US, and the album is released in the US in a special version called "The Sign" and was sold at more than 2 millions copies!
