I saw the Lunts in The Visit directed by Peter Brook back in 1956. I was 11 years old but all these years later images still remain of what was a shocking and brilliant play and performance. It has remained one of my favourite theatrical experiences to this day. Do wish I could see Lesley Manville and Hugo Weaving in this production. Hopefully it will be available in the cinemas
Lesley Manville is slowly but surely inching her way into OLD WOMAN parts. This is SPLENDID. Once the '30s generation exit (Dench, Smith, Atkins) and the '40s generation pass onto even older parts (Mirren, Rampling, Close, Lapotaire), she'll be the new Judi Dench.

Weaving, WHY WHY WHY WHY???????????? Wait!!!!!!! I have seen this, you were supposed to say the schedule for The Visit does not permit you to play in the Matrix 4 and I was supposed to say but this is a low budget flick which will have a maximum of 300 votes on IMDB..... hmmm....

Would love to see these 2 on stage together again some day, since this play unfortunately never got the time to really get going.
