I am from Haiti. I visited Senegal I felt so great I felt so welcome. No racism, no hatred, no rejection. People are so decent. God bless Senegal. God bless Africa. I am coming Senegal
@@billionsteps220 racism is the wrong word to use, rather tribalism, because the word and concept of race can not even be found in any of those african languages and thats why they use the foreign word of racism even when talking about the subject of racism. Yes tribes might have issues with each other but it's not like their issues are rooted in this tall dark people with broad noses are inferior to this light skinned slim nose people, or this shorter muscular tribe is better than this taller slimer tribe. In fact their are multiple tribes with known surnames that belongs to certain tribes and you will find people in other tribes that have that surname why, because of migration and people that settled amongst the other tribe and started adapting to their customs. i will give you 2 famous examples in the area why racism is the wrong word to use the kaabu, kingdoms of sine 6 saloum and the wolof empire. the geleware in the serer kingdoms for example are the same family as the mandinka ruling family in Kaabu, but the mandinka aristocracy of Kaabu moved to serer kingdoms adopted the culture, language married in and that was the start of the gelewar, despite being the same family the gelewar would sometimes have issues with Mandinka animist kingdom of Kabu, now if they not only originally came from the same tribe but litteraly the same family then the word racism is wrong to use its not about race. another example is Ndiadiane Ndiaye the founder of the wolof empire various sources say different things but some say he had arab ancestry, others sayhe had fulani orgin, others says he has serer origins , and most sources says at least that he had a Takrur lineage on his mothers side. Regardless the point is he was originally a foreigner in that tribe wether serer or fulani and he was accepted as royalty and the wolof empire would at times have political issues with the fulani kingdoms in the region as well but if they were willing to accept a king with at least 50% fulani lineage it would once again be wrong to deem those issues as racist. the issue in west africa for most cases is tribalism not racism. I have yet to see people on mass or any large scale ideology talking about other tribes as a different race or so. In fact sometimes people don't even know what tribe the other person is unless they say it. nhope you got my point brother.
