When the woman decides to leave, has a plan, it always happens then. The abuser can't handle the loss of control. Never tell your abuser that you're leaving!! The time right before you go is the most dangerous.

Why tell them? Just leave and make sure they're at work or out of the house. when they see all your stuff gone they well figure it out. And never. Never meet them alone and it's even iffy when people are around. How many times do you read about cases like this and think, oh he / she wouldn't do that to me? A desperate man / woman is capable of anything... always remember that.

That's horrible that he has to live with his dad, especially since he know he killed his mom. It's crap when that happens. Since they haven't charged him, he's allowed to have custody of his son? What's to say that he wouldn't hurt his son? He should be allowed to live with his grandparents.

This is an approach that we apply to almost all aspects of life, bc there's plenty we don't "know" but still believe to be true. You don't "know" that God exists, but more than half of the entire world's population believes in one. A jury doesn't always "know" what happened, but the verdict they hand out has to reflect what they believe based on what's reasonable and substantiated. This is pretty standard stuff.

So he tells his son that mama ran off with another guy and knew exactly where she parked her car? This indicates that he was already aware that his wife was seeing other men and based on his history of abuse and jealousy, you wanna tell us he didn't do anything to her in the meantime after having known this information?
He also picked his son up from school on time....if he had picked him up late that would be understandable based on the scenario that his wife and son didn't come home yet, he calls his wife never receives an answer, so he decides to eventually pick up his son from school.

This reminds me of the Jacksonville, FL case where the little boy grew up and actually assisted in prosecuting his father who murdered his prescious mother. My hope and prayers is that this beautiful mommy is still ok and out there but either way my thoughts and prayers are with all her wonderful family and friends and child I pray she is found soon this is so so heartbreaking. But if something happened at that man's hands her little boy will grow up and unfortunately he will remember things and he probably has over heard or if not seen things that would or could convict his father time will tell. Love and blessings and prayers to family.

I was in a relationship, I had my nose broken from my spouse head butting me, punching me, there was never written evidence of it because I didn't press charges on my partner because I cared and hoped we could get through her jealousy and anger but if you asked my family, they would know what occured. So I completely understand the families POV. The defense should be ashamed for the belittling he did about every credible piece of evidence. But he's a defense attorney, what do you expect. The investigation tho, needs to take all these details and personal accounts seriously tho, they're not just made up fiction, they are based in some truth. Come on.. the case is leading no where but this guy.. the crime shows no signs of a random act, robbery, nothing. It's a close to home crime. Open and closed, I hope they get this woman peace and justice by getting her killer and getting her to proper rest and closure to the family.
