Ethan from H3H3 has Tourette’s. His tick is his eyebrows and I believe his tick helps amplify his personality. I can’t imagine Ethan without his eyebrow movements.
In related news... I had a good friend in grade school and his brother had really bad Tourette’s. Tons of ticks and lots of randomly yelling stuff. He was the best.
One tick he had was that he’d randomly blurt out “WOO!” and when he did his brother and I would yell “DANCE PARTY!” and start dancing. He loved that... especially in public. We took the focus off the guy that just randomly yelled “WOO!” and put the focus on the freaks that just yelled “DANCE PARTY!” and started dancing like idiots. Those were the days. I can still hear his awesome laugh every time we did that.

Thanks for sharing ! I got ADHD , I diagnosed when I was 7 but never knew what it was till 32 !. Not knowing the reason for years and knowing something was different about me , it was a jurney !. Now I know why I am the way Iam and finally I accepted my self. now I Know why I do the things I do. Life is very though specialy when you think other people more than your self. You live with your self not with others . This is you , always fight to be better but please try not to stress out for other people.
P.S. I like to use headphones when I work. Take care !!

I appreciate this video, thank you. I've never heard it said out loud before; that I'm not angry at you or you, or this or that, I'm angry at what's inside. It just expresses outwards like cracks in a volcano, so hard to keep it all in. Especially if you don't have an outlet like contact sport, racing, playing drums or yelling on stage! I really needed that affirmation through your expression, thank you!

I agree that Tourette's does Define me because of the amount of effort I put into it not do the tic. I don't have one day where i'm not rattling around my head about Tourette's, like if I just didn't have to think about it, if I could just tic openly and not be uncomfortable, I think that it would Define me a lot less. and honestly tourettes is really just been upsetting me a lot lately, like I just can't take it anymore. I can't even stop no mater how much I want to, and I'm just so exhausted by how everyone treats me, by how much it hurts to do the tic. I hate it so much when I tic at work and my coworkers take that as permission to comment on it, or liked to ask random questions. like I've been holding the tic in for 10 minutes and now this is when you want to talk to me. and it's not even related to me, it's just my condition only thing they want to hear from me. It doesn't even matter and it's none of their business the random things I asked me. It's just a lot

Thank you for the video. My younger son has ADHD and just after his 8 birthday appeared tics so I discovered that he has Tourette's. I want to know about this as much as I can to help him. His ticks are mild now. I really appreciate the video. Great thank you from me and my son!!!!

I think this changed my mood in the best way
Why I say “I think”is bc I got distracted 3 times sry but give appreciation to others and notice what they are going through and ultimately,be patient with them, help them and find out how they see the world and feel.

This is one of the best videos I have ever seen you make. Unlike your advice videos that you usually make this one shows that you have times of weakness just like anybody else. And today, you coming out with that just helped me be a little stronger for myself even though I should have been all along. I hope we can get to talking again and I hope you become stronger for yourself too! And thank you for your amazing videos.

@@MewithADHD I appreciate you more! Seriously in all honesty, even though we don't talk much I want to be there for you when you need someone to talk to or even one of the ones you can personally talk to if you ever feel down. For a little over a year now I have been suffering from depression because of what happened at my workplace at Gelson's. Ive been having to constantly adjust my stress and anxiety medications and sleep medications because of the mental damage they caused me outgrows the help that the meds are supposed to suppress. And until a year ago I never fully realized the sort of damage depression actually had on people's well being until it happened to me and its why I haven'tbeen able to shell out videos as often as I'd like to. I take depression 200 times more seriously than I had before and I took it pretty seriously. Seriously buddy. If there is anything you need or want to talk about Ill be here for you.
