The Australian government approved its use, they should raise a levy / fund to have it removed from households nationwide as it keeps poisoning and burdens the health system & families. If a government can fund batts in roofs, they can fund this or offer a significant rebate.

This is because the next handyman or do-it-yourselfer who works on the covered surface may be exposed to the highly hazardous material completely unaware. Thus, he is neither in a position to take the necessary measures in terms of occupational safety, nor to comply with the applicable legislation, and unknowingly endangers himself and others.
