      @@DocSchuster You can also have. right spots outside the center of course right if the liight isnt distributed equally across the entire spherical surface right..or maybe for other differences..

    Hey, Doc. I appreciate your presentation, but I would like to know HOW Poisson apparently KNEW there would be a bright dot in the middle of a shadow. Your explanation just asserts that he did know based on what the understood nature of light was. For me, it is not an inductive conclusion to make--that the center of a shadow would have a bright dot...
    Actually, it just came to me how it could be predicted, but it's only my idea of how Poisson made this prediction. So, I'll let it here asking you to explain how Poisson was able to make this prediction.
