- The 1980 ident uses a logo that was introduced around 1977, according to Logopedia.

What are your favorite idents from KQED?
All
The 5th one!
6th and surprisingly the 15th one, albeit with a non-color background.
6th Ident!
The 7th one, it was my childhood. I just wanna say I'm glad other people are making extensive KQED logo histories, even if I'm a little jealous they do it better than me (and I live here) 😭. Really excellent job. 👍
EXCELLENT IDENT HISTORY! KQED, similar to other PBS affiliates and educational TV stations such as WGBH Boston, has a pretty interesting (and fantastic) collection of idents. They not only have brilliantly done animations and techniques in them, they also have tunes which are nice to listen to. Best examples would be the 6th and 7th idents (especially the station ID version at 6:05). The 7th ident is arguably the greatest one from KQED, no wonder why it was used for eleven years.
Thanks, Man. That ident you mentioned truly is a masterpiece.
2:12 PBS gonna end up telling kqed to stop steal bro's audio

Nice and great ident history! Wish you will make WQED logo history.
And Channel 5 Logo History
Hey JontyMaster, can you do the logo history of Sony Pictures Animation?
4 more episodes until that VTM Logo History I've been requesting! I cant wait :D
It's actually not in 4 episodes time, plus I'm no longer uploading logo histories as episodes, just simple vids of their own. However, that is a superb idea that I've actually been thinking of doing for a long time, probably since 2022, and I'd love to do an ident history of VTM sometime.
@@JontyMaster You could maybe do logo bloopers. That might be fun.
I love KQED!

Jonty, I don't know if it's at all possible but I'd like it if you could do a logo history for KERA Dallas - Fort Worth
It is absolutely possible. I might do that in the future.
