They made a good point by bringing up the British actresses Judi Dench and Helen Mirren and their Oscars at a certain age. Hollywood is a different world,wanting only the young actresses.
Bette Midler - 2011! I have heard, through the grapevine, Midler has just signed on the dotted line for a multi-million $ Hollywood Blockbuster Comedy/Thriller! Filming is scheduled for 2010!

@yngguy4u Yes cuss words are said on TV all the tim in the US but they are bleeped! I was referring to cuss words coming out and not being bleeped, and like they don't do in the UK and so on....
@kalindoscopy Stuff like that is permissible usually on UK and I think even Australian TV. They can get away with saying and doing a LOT more in those TV markets than you can in America!!!!
@tall32guy actually I don't think that's true. Asshole is said all the time in America day and night. In the UK you get fined if you say bollocks. Much of the prime time shows in America are riddled with "fuck" and "shit" especially if its reality...they are just bleeped. Also , Joan Rivers was kicked off of Loose Women for profanity. That's never happened to her in America.
