0.0 the sounds of the edge scraping as you drilled with the tip... the stuff of nightmares! Love the intensity of these videos. Luong sees the line, sidles up to it, then takes a giant LEAP over what others do to demonstrate the strength/weakness of their knives! No holding back... Thank you for your work, Luong.
Shawn sent me, I realized I was already subscribed, lol. Love your work & testing, ur a HTreatment genius, and I hope to learn alot from you guys . I am saving right now for tooling, to make knives. Y'all inspire us, 4 real : )
I am trying to get my shop back online again, so I can more metallurgy as applied physics. This video has to do with Newton's Laws of Motion Inertia Frame of Reference for moving object. In last 2 months - I shocked-broken m4 64rc chopper, 3v 65.5rc chopper, s690 65rc chopper. Running out of chopper to destroy ;)
Thanks for the heads up BBB. Interesting video. I recently saw that Bradford has their Guardian 4 in V4E available on BLADEHQ. I'm sure it's heat treated more conservatively, but exciting none the less.
video is older now but i love 4v steel family. have 6 3/4 inch fixed blade 63 hrc, 2 buddies watched me completely dress out a deer with it when i got done both their jaws were on the ground. i cut through the rib cage on both side in one push. it was still brutally sharp afterwards. it's some amazing stuff at higher hrcs.
Currently I don't have listing of available knives for sale. However if you have certain knife in mind, perhaps send me an email bcmw@flexbiz.com. if I've some available knives nearly match what you look for, then I can provide pictures and details. Thanks.

My wife told me many times my videos are too long. Glad you didn't grab a large popcorn & soda, otherwise I might venture into making z-grade movies ;)

Thanks. Truth to oneself may lead to deeper learning, hence must find these steels limits by push them into damage zone ...

I LOVE THIS GUY!
AB served as backing for chopping 12d nail. Right, AB is super dense and very high janka hardness
Which one would be easier to sharpen, considered both are the same edges and same rockwell hardness, Vanadis 4 E or CPM 3V ? Thanks in advance
Although V4E has slightly higher carbide volume than 3V, it is a little easier to sharpen because 3V higher Cr%.
