They seem to have done a lot of work and it really does look a lot cleaner and greener. But in the next stage Delhi needs to work on removing so much dirt on footpaths and roads. The footpaths particularly look so dirty. Just brooming shifts the dirt from one place to the other. I had heard Delhi government had plans for vacuum cleaning of roads/ footpaths and washing of selective places periodically, I wonder what its implementation stage is.
Delhi is simply the best green Metro City in India.. Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune etc are not as clean and as green as Delhi is.. Only Mumbai matches Delhi's standards..While Pune, Bangalore have good climate as metros, rest city planning is not good.

You are wrong in saying that this beautification drive has happened everywhere in Delhi. You are showing only the New Delhi area which was already well developed. Try to speak the truth and sometimes criticize the governments also.
Theres no point in beautifying delhi when the air pollution is probably unbreathable for the foreign prime ministers. The air pollution and water quality is already an embarrassment. They'll come in 9 - 12 september, in which burning crops from haryana pollute delhi. It should've been atleast in monsoon, in 9 - 12 september the burning crops will detoriate air quality, and tell the foreign ministers a bad image.
