- THIS SEASON IS INSANE. I’m not someone that wants to see 400 idols, but just one tribal out of all these premerge blindsides to have idols was fine, and I really enjoyed this. I thought they were really setting Jamal up as the boot, but surprisingly it ended up to be Jack. I really thought Jamal was gonna idol himself out, with a 5*-1*-1 sort of thing. Interesting tribal before the vote, great tribal with the two idols (definitely didn’t expect Jamal to play it for Noura). I’m happy for Jack that he made the jury, and speaking of that, jury at 14??? I’ve always liked the idea of the last premerge boot being a juror, but I didn’t think they’d ever do that again (eoe doesnt count). Maybe the finalists vote out a juror? Also RIP Rudy, thought I’d include that in the video. He was a hero and it’s horrible that he died, glad they did a tribute for him.

Super interesting episode. Dan has the worst edit I’ve ever seen right now, LOVE Dean and Kellee, Kellee was amazing this episode acting like she had no clue about Dean having an idol. Noura saying “why wouldn’t he play it last time” lmao. Super happy Dean made merge because I really wasn’t sure if he would. Idk why Jamal was edited SO negatively tonight when he didn’t end up going home, I guess they’re setting him up for something. This is one of the best premerges we’ve had at least if we’re going off the tribals, hopefully the merge can be like that too.
ZP Survivor these past 3 seasons have been amazing! Also Kellee was acting like a queen tonight, I must say ;)
H P I agree with you on Season 37. Season 38? That one is best left forgotten, imo. 😂 That season was an experimental season that didn’t quite work out. Other than Devens and Reem (for very different reasons), there weren’t any memorable players, either.
This season has been above my expectations so far. I thought this season would be forgettable prelude season featuring BRob and Sandra, but I have been wrong. And I am glad.
ZP Survivor 38 was a good season destroyed by EoE. It now ranks last in my book.
I think maybe cuz Dan is too touchy with every women and got in problems with that. That’s why the editors try to show so little of him idk
I'm not a fan of Dean. But I thought it was a good episode. I didn't think Jamal was edited negatively. I feel like he's a good guy and maybe had a moment where he wasn't being that considerate, but everyone does that from time to time. I feel like that has come across on the show (like trying to save Noura and saying he was proud of the women for sharing their experiences during tribal and his friendship with Jack).

Kellee is a game changer with this clever move. Flushed out another idol, got rid of a threat, saved and gained loyalty with Dean, and made use of her idol all in one setting‼️👌🏽 She’s a top tier player this season

Survivor Genius Podcast ikr?? I think the preview showed us that Dean is planning to take Kellee out next. He was telling Tommy and Lauren(they are not very clear in the preview but if you watch closely you can see it’s them) about it. Then another scene showed in the preview was Tommy telling Aaron to vote Kellee.
Well who ever said Dean became loyal to her? He was in danger, so he used what she gave him and now he’s using it against her. He’s got ammo against her now.

Will Schromm UHM CHILD, have watched island of the Idols? She played the pre merge SO HARD and when she wanted to make a big moves she timed them perfectly. She may not be a good player to you, I think she used her power in her ways and used them perfectly.

its probably in preparation for all winners because eoe had a 13 person merge despite being an 18 person cast so all winners will likely have a 14 person merge cause of a 20 cast with eoe
This is amazing, i’ve been shocked every tribal council so far
I was impressed with Kellie in this episode. Giving her idol to Dean with out anyone else knowing and convincing Noura to vote Jack. She also voted with the majority and acted all shock to cover her tracks. Little did they know she masterminded all of that. And the cherry on top, it forced Jamal to waste his idol on the wrong person. I didn't expect this season to be this good. Can't wait for the merge.

Jack’s on the jury because either Rob and Sandra join the jury on night 39 and production didn’t want the possibility of a 4-4-4 tie with a 12 person jury. Then again, the oath of the idols says they can’t vote so maybe that’s an impossibility. Or the island of the idols wants to diversify with it’s advantages and not do too many duplicates so they want to do every advantage and idol rendition in the book so it’s possible someone will be voted off the jury.

Single-handedly one of the best moves ever made by Kelle. She gives the idol to Dean so he trusts her while also making other original Vokai not suspicous of her. This also makes it where she can flip on old Vokai or stay with them. She also knew Dean would play the idol so she still voted for him just for saftey. She also got a threat in the merge out. As of now Kelle is my winner pick. Another thing I liked is when Jack apoligized for tripping while placing down his torch.
Every pre-merge episode of this season was dynamite, this one being the last.
It's a shame how terrible it ended up being with all of the controversy, since people will forget how truly great the pre-merge really was.
This pre-merge truly was one of the best ever, if not the best. But like you said, this season has a dark cloud over it now.

Even better than the last episode! This season has been slowly growing on me! Episodes 2-3 & 5 were meh but everything else was fun.

7th blindside in a row! I was really surprised with the result, after Jamal played his idol for Noura I was 100% sure that he was going home. Another thing that surprised me is 11 jurors (maybe). This whole episode was just really confusing for me haha

I agree. It’s not just a big mood just for the sake of making a big move. It was well thought out and very positive for her game post merge.
JUSS yes I agree. Well conceived blindside. (1) Remove someone who she is unlikely to align with in the merge, (2) make inroads with 2 swing players (Dean & Noura), (3) while not alerting her original alliance, (4) and by chance, also flushing out an idol from another person she is unlikely to align with (Jamal), and (5) further prospering the girl’s alliance in which she is firmly off the radar.

The Innovator He was the most genuine he was a fun person to be around, and a good person in the jury and then there’s people like Dan with like 2 confessionals making the merge
jack had the least screentime of any currently-competing contestant by episode 6, maybe alongside janet, who then went to the IOI. he wasn't a big character.

This season was an absolute dumpster fire, but the Rob and Sandra commentary and this tribal council music was welcome silver lining.

So far Kellee is my favorite player since the first episode has been and she keeps proving why. And Noura is growing on me, I know people dislike her but I haven't and fun fact she has been on the right side of the votes the whole time. This season is amazing...

This episode felt like fan fiction lol, what even is this season? The women are on fire this season! Kellee, Janet, and Noura are all amazing. Having the jury start at the Final 14 is absolutely ridiculous and unfair to people who made the merge and couldn’t be on the jury.

Amazed at how the Noura and Dean's conversation ended up in Noura's favor from last week. As well as that, Noura played so good this tribal to the point that Jamal played his idol on her. Jamal really played himself this episode.

Can I just say that was an INSANE move by Kellee? Using the idol for Dean, making sure noone knew it was her that gave it to him, and then using Noura as a backup vote for Jack in case Dean turned on her. All the while voting with majority so everyone is none the wiser. If she stays in much longer she's gonna make it to the million.

i think david vs goliath still had the best pre-merge for me- the emotional moment when pat leave the game, jessica blindside, jeremy vs natalie, natalia's rage exit, and the jacketgate- and all of that without any sort of advantages involved in tribals. but what i love about this season is that all the crazy characters / players that everyone thought would gone pre merge is actually safe and made merge, thanks to the amazing gameplays. we got the strategic gameplayers like kellee, tommy, missy, aaron, lauren etc. and then we got the big characters and personalities like noura, elaine, karishma, dean. i hope the merge is going to be crazier than the merge, can't wait 😌 and also is next ep 2hrs? from wikipedia two ppl would be out next ep. (also jack made jury?! what is going on lol)
ray Hopefully this season’s postmerge is as strong as the premerge because I found David vs Goliath’s postmerge to be much worse than the premerge. From John’s boot to Christian’s boot, it becomes a little too meta with BIG MOVES. Though Carl’s boot was fantastic.
