Sitka and kuiu has some paper thin rain jackets you could take a shower in and not get wet. But Simms and grundens are more budget friendly options that are still pretty solid.
Oh damn nooooooooo. Bummer man. Hey thanks for showing that angle I just learned that net work is hard. That sucks it popped off. Don't quit brother keep slaying em!
Can't go wrong with Carhartt! If you're willing to spend some cash though I'd go with Arc'teryx. The beta LT is hands down the best and will last you a long time
Well, you did look really sad. But it’s good you put that on video because it helps other people learn. Your mistake may have saved somebody else’s salmon.
@@AutomagicFishing absolutely helpful. Wait till u do you see Earl’s video on Monday. My husband was doing the same thing you were doing and I had no clue. It was supposed to be done a certain way and I’m pretty sure he did the same thing. Luckily, the fish was hooked really good.
Frog toggs makes some good light weight gear
Yes they do!!
I like the carheart rain gear.
Noted
That fishery definitely requires a line counter. Makes life easier to know exactly where you are.
I suppose I should do that
@@AutomagicFishing I use a line counter that way all lure are at same distance down call the wall of death
It happens always bring the fish to the net mainly if your fishing by yourself. Lesson learned. Keep catching 🎣🎣🎣🎣
Thanks! 🙏 will do!
I've done it. And learned from it.🎣🎣🎣🎣
Guideware jacket, bibs. If sitting in the rain, get some Grunden bibs. Goretex seems to leak on the butt when sitting on them all day.
Thanks

Thank you 😊
Got to get the rod and net in synch. Even after 4 decades together, my wife and I screw one up once in a while. Keep at em'.
I’m sure there’ll be a couple more days of trolling in my near future!

Smart point Barbie. In a way, I thought the same thing. Almost didn’t make the video but it was my version of going to confession.

It has happened to us all
I know it… it sure sucks still
It’s cuz it’s Friday the 13th!!
That’s a fact!
Ah man
That fish was probably a potential personal best for me darn it, too bad. I tightened the drag too much.
