I like the natural instinct to leave the nest when there is danger. Unfortunately, they can't fly yet so they either died from falling or another predator ate them.
Maybe I'm just an optimist, but I think you're wrong. Looking at Robin fledgling images, these poor things were very close to fledging. It is possible they left and parents fed it on the ground and in a day or so they got stronger wings to fly. Impossible to say. But this is a great video to warn kids and anyone that might mess with a birds nest. You never know when the stress becomes too much and baby birds, even newly hatched ones, will leave the nest too early. :( :(
Last two take a dump, anything to be even a little more aerodynamic-and a great parting gift for the greedy crow. Maybe to show Mom they've left not in the crow's mouth? Chicks were so wobbly. The crow could predate them on the ground as well. Did they make it?
At the peak of cruelty, it was really beautiful.. completely normal, the battle of life,, the end was beautiful, where the last two chicks fell in love with the stormy sea and jumped out of the nest, the nest that is no longer safe, had a great lesson for those who are simple They don't think,,.. In my opinion, one of the thousand advices he had was that a person can stop trying and ask for help from any coward, or take the first step firmly despite all the difficulties.
Looks like some type of Myna bird nest. Those birds are so resilient in nature that their chicks can allow themselves to leave the nest at young age and still survive
The chicks, the older they get, they have the innate ability to prematurely fledge in danger situations like this. The last two chicks escaped. Their brothers and sisters shielded them from the crow. I am sure their parents would find and feed them on the ground.
The chicks left the nest around 8:20pm and it got dark quickly. Next morning, both Robin and the crow visited the empty nest, so my guess is they were still looking for the other two chicks. Hope they both joined juvenile robins and are safe. Now the same nest is being used by Mourning doves and I hope the crown doesn't attack again. Pls check my instagram page for updates on the mourning doves nest. Thank you for watching
I don’t really care one way or another with the commentary about ‘how intelligent these crows are” when one can be that stupid to not acknowledge. that these crows are killers of these innocent Robin babies who have every right to exist.
Calm down. Crows have to feed their babies as well. That's nature. And so do birds of prey grab crow babies and feed them to their young. The circle of life. Baby crows need protein to grow and yes now and then they might get fed a bird chick. But mostly crows are scavengers (and have an important place in our eco system and actually prevent you from pandemics) but mostly they eat anything they find. Bird babies make only a small percentage of what they eat.
It's called nature, baby. Nestling birds only have a 20% chance to make it to fledging and then their chances of survival only decrease further. Most songbirds only live for around 3 years. The longest lived wild bird I've ever seen was one that my neighbors raised and released into the wild (never release single birds into the wild) a starling. Somehow that bird managed to survive for 5 years before he disappeared.

The last one takes a crap before jumping out. Like, “I’ll leave this here for the crow in case he comes back. Hehehehe.”
В любом случае я рад что ворона убила их, последний в одиночку точно погиб. Очень Надеюсь

Seems child birds run away from the nest when they feel serious danger.
Then they hide on the ground and wait for their mother bird.
