I have very oily skin and while it doesn't hold up as well as a super matte formula for me, it's great for everyday and has a great natural finish.
Always love your book recommendations, although I don't find much time to read lately. The Tartlette palette is so pretty, but to me doesn't look that unique, I probably have all of those colors already in my collection. I am considering the Viseart Sultry Muse Palette, also common colors, but the shadows are getting such rave reviews I feel I need to see for myself how good they really are. I agree w/ you...baking anything on older skin (43 for me) makes me nervous. I don't need more dry products on my face to show all my little wrinkles! In fact the older I get, I feel like I can't get enough moisture (esp. in this frigid Colorado winter!!)

I was hard core ABH brow whiz. Then I started changing my hair color and needed something with less red and found that hourglass overall tends to lean more "ashy" than other brands. Hands down new fav now. I'm glad that someone else agrees with me.
I've been bleaching my hair to an ashy blonde and have been searching high and low for a good brow color. Everything has been too warm. I will definitely check out that hourglass pencil

+frenchlitgirl I use them on all evenings that I don't use my prescription retin a. Sunday riley said on her Instagram that the Luna oil is her only oil meant to be used before treatments. So I wash and tone my face, then go in with Luna then good genes, then moisturizer eye cream and maybe an additional oil depending on the dryness of my skin at that time. Hope this isn't too confusing!

Marnie, do u use Courtney's technique where u drop the lash initially at the inside corner or what I've seen a lot, where u drop it initially in the middle of the eye and then connect each corner?
I would love to know how you take off false lashes? I know you can "rip" them off but that just seems like it would hurt. Is there a way to take them off safely? I am afraid it will rip out some of my eyelashes with them if I just pull them off. Would love your tips on them. :-)

I couldn't wear lashes until i watched a step by step tutorial by Pixiewoo on TH-cam. I literally followed the tutorial bit by bit and have worn lashes ever since (I wear them everyday to work & have done for years, I find them sooo much easier than applying mascara. I can pop them on in 30 seconds X )

Today you said that glycolic acid didn't agree with you skin and I looked at an old video about your using a peel from boots No. 7. I was tempted by it yesterday, but didn't bite.

Baking & contouring really aren't a good look on mature skin. Baking accentuates every line and contouring is ridiculous for every day looks. Natural looks are making a comeback in 2016.

+Jacqueline Fashbaugh The key is letting the glue dry A LOT. For me, it seems to work best if I drop it on the outer corner first.

+Amy K I rip 'em off, but I'm sure you can soak a cotton pad in eye makeup remover and hold it to the lashes to loosen the glue.

Baking & contouring really aren't a good look on mature skin. Baking accentuates every line and contouring is ridiculous for every day looks. Natural looks are making a comeback in 2016.
