I’m pretty sure the only reason the fiend won the title was to protect him. I know that sounds weird but if the fiend character lost at Summerslam and then Roman beat Braun it would make the fiend look weak. So they gave him the title to protect his image and also so they could add Braun to the match so he could take the pin.

I just know at first I wasn’t happy about Roman winning but once the show happened and it happened I like the way they went about things.
