    WOW what a way to go for a cup of coffee. I love how colorful area and the animal friends you've met on your outings.

      Thankfully the views and experience made up for the taste of the coffee 😅

    Riding on the back of the jeep you get the best views haha.

      It was so beautiful. We were lucky to capture it from the sky, the drone does such a beautiful job showing it off!

      Awe thank you! Colombia is a great place to have a drone. Their drone laws are generous and the landscapes are stunning!

      Do not do drones in the Corcora Valley, it is actually illegal without permission because of Condors and the parrots that nest in the Wax Palms.

    I'm going next month....how do you get to Salento from bogota or medellin without flying? Is there a direct bus route? 🥰

    • @jerryjenkins5739
      @jerryjenkins5739 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is a bus from the south bus terminal in Medellin to Salento for 73K pesos and it has one change in another small town close by.

    • @jfrunn
      @jfrunn ปีที่แล้ว

      bus terminal, for foreigners I would suggest either Expreso Bolivariano. or Expreso Brasilia.

      @@jerryjenkins5739 you got ripped on that bus fare price. I don't think I paid more than 40 -50mil pesos for any bus ride in Colombia.

    I just recently got back from a trip to Colombia to visit my partner, I am Colombian/Canadian, eventually hoping on getting her up here to the great white north, ( she will need some convincing, she doesn't believe that Ottawa gets hotter than her region of Ibague in the summer). We took a 4 day trip to Salento and Valle Corcora the setting of the Disney Movie, Encanto., our hotel room cost me $120 for the period, although we were in the off season. Also unless you have permission it is illegal to use drones in the Corcora Valley, due to sensitive bird species that nest in the Wax Palms for anyone who visits, Salento is fine as far as I believe.
