A SIMPLE AND STRONG ROTATION: 1. Use all of Jane's passion state to deal dmg (enemy is at ~50% Daze) 2. Swap to off fielders to apply buffs/debuffs (enemy is at 100% Daze) 3. @@HamstahFwend I'm not sure what mathematically makes the most sense, but to keep her in perma passion mode for now, I would guess that stunning the enemy faster would be better than to run double anomaly. Since Grace and Jane both are anomaly characters that compete a bit for field time, maybe try Anby for now to see if if helps your combat flow more 😊 So on step 2, swap to Anby and do an immediate stun with two E, then carry Seth's Passive onto Jane with the chain attack
At the start of the rotation when Jane has no passion, should one charge it up then use it all up and proceed into step 2, or start at step 2 to trigger a chain and then fly though the rotation?

I prefarmed for Jane so I can use her asap. I got her at the cost of nearly all my pulls. It was totally worth it. I have s ranked all shiyu defense, critical and stable, the combat missions with the leader of the lion group, and using her in hollow zero with all onslaught resonia is crazy.

That's the comp I use. Tons of fun tbh and you get mad assault, Neko gets her EX, and Seth can pass the shield to either if they're in a pinch. Wish people gave it more of a chance tbh.
Thanks for the guide as always! I’ll be killing myself trying to run the Ellen Rina comp since I just want to use them. Also, just a couple notes. Nothing is popping up on screen during the stats goal section like usual. And Salchow is pronounced more like “SaoKao,” it’s a figure skating reference. Just thought you might like to know!
Some easy optimization to throw into your routine: Salchow Jump can trigger assault during the move, while her EX and Ult only trigger it on the last hit, if you know this you can prevent 'overassaulting' enemies and wasting a bunch of build up. I've been running her with Seth and an m5 Anby and her maxed out weapon and disorder triggers a plenty, i don't understand why Anby is getting no love from most creators. She is easy to get, easy to max out and weirdly strong for an A rank. Don't sleep on her esp when you don't have the other character that go well with Jane/Seth.
I got jane after spending all my pulls (unluckily 85 pulls) but then got soldier 11 in the next 10 pull (unfortunately I don't like her playstyle and she is M2 which is annoying) trying to get 1 last copy of Seth but that means I have guaranteed Burnice now which is who I was saving for next.

Aside from that GYAAATTTT!!! she is by far the craziest unit. Like who needs crit? I'm so happy today since i only have like 69 pull and 699 poly. But managed to get her and then got her w engine early 10 pull.
I just cleared the Shiyu cycle with every node being sub 3 minutes with my well invested Ellen/Zhu Yuan teams. Even if I’m off element, I don’t see how I’ll ever go over 5 mins given the current health scaling of enemies. Soooo…I don’t really need her? Or anyone else for that matter? Except maybe Rina because she’ll be good with the next Electric attacker. Anomaly teams are a luxury that I don’t want to spend money for. I guess Jane is good for F2Ps and Minnows that skipped Ellen or Jane
Considering that I've been blursed by Rina C1 AND Grace C1, who cleared previous Shiyu Defence at S rank up to floor 6, and A rank on Floor 7, I will the rat. I will absolutely the rat! And who cares about "clunky", if I can just do the funny beeg numbers!
Was it really clunky? I had my Rina and Grace built. I was doing triple disorder in a row with that team. my qingyi is saved with Zhu yuan to Max boost her ULT in the Stun phase with nicole. the quicjk swapping wasn't that painful and instead was really fun. 70% on field with jane doe and 30% Rina and grace appears to drop some Electric anomaly and pen buff. I don't know about Seth Tho. is he really necessary for jane doe? is it just for the defense assist?
@@pretty.billy. how different is the gameplay with seth? I have tried. Jane-Qingyi-Grace is great because of the stun boost. but I can't really see how much Seth an upgrade for the team would be. I'm not sure if I'm up to spend a lot more resources again.

I use her in my Main Team with Lycaon and Corin. I use her to get of a fast Assault Proc, that boosts Lycaons Daze and Corins Damage with 4piece Physical set. Then Lycaon daze in a few hits and puts the Daze Multip. up Switch to Jane and then to Corin for heavy burst damage. If Time, switch back to Jane and try to Assault befor Daze is up. Is it Meta? No Is it strong and fun? Yes
Well that would depend on which team you're using. But if you use her with Seth and Qingyi or Seth and Grace then probably either Plugboo or Officer Cui would be a good bet
What goes with Jane/Neko? Seth would give buff to Neko. What's the order for that Jane/Neko team? Do I drop Grace in 3rd slot instead of Seth? Sokaku/Jane/Seth is also interesting, Jane gets an atk buff and AP when you shuffle forward and back teammates. Thanks for the video!

Cui works fine if only because it deals a shitload of damage. Otherwise use Magnetiboo and wait for Baddieboo. Use whatever for Lucy, just stack atk so she can buff Jane further, she'll barely even see play time in this team
just lost 50-50 to my 3rd grace, then got jane in the next 10 pull lol. pretty much maxed out my seth cinema, and i'll be waiting for burnice next to complete the disorder team ~
Hey Guoba it would be amazing if you could do a Rina guide as I feel I'm playing her super sub-optimally. Especially focused on her rotation and the best way to keep her buffs up consistently?
8:12 sadly it only gives one more empty circle for the spin attack; you only get 1 spin attack per passion state entered as it says on her basic skill i think, so you can hold 2 but you need to enter passion state 2 times; its useful if you just kill mobs with chain/dash attacks and keep the spin for the next elites, otherwise i dont think it has any real value

So, what's your take about the BP w-engine? For someone who's already taking the BP, but don't see any value in the other weapons, is it worth taking it every patch? Or is there any w-engine actually more efficient?
Ive seen mentions of full PEN Ratio Jane float around, utilizing Grace Engine, Seth and M1 Rina as supports as well as using 2 piece PEN Ratio Set and PEN Disc 5. However I'm not able to find any of the calculations and I'm not in the sauce enough to do them myself. Could you take a look, based Guoba? I'd love to be given a reason not to pull on the WEngine.
How is she compared to Piper? Seems obvious she'd be an improvement but by how much? Is it just the extra muliplier for triggering Assualts? In your Qingyi guide, you had a section comparing her and Anby directly since they were the same archetype. This could benefit this guide as well since its the same situation.
They are not even in the same stratosphere, Piper is dogwater compared to Jane. The distance between Jane and Piper is like 5x larger than the distance between Qingyi and Anby. Playstyle, ease of use, anomaly buildup rate, damage floor, ceiling, it's borderline unfair to compare them. And I had mine well built, I essentially just gave Jane my Piper discs and will never use the latter again lol
Can we get a manual vs auto chain attack guide? I went with the "if it aint broke, don't fix it" approach but I've seen alot of talk about how manual is better.
Personally I just prefer to bind the cancel chain attack button, it lets you break out of chains if you didn't want them with, as far as i can tell, very little downside besides like half a second where you're checking if you want to cancel the chain or not
@@lrogan4634 I haven't really ran into the issue where I would want to cancel the chain attacks yet, and I have my teams ordered to where I go from stunner to support to DPS. I'm sure I have some room to min-max somewhere, but 1.0 chain attacks are comfortable for me.

As a person with M3 Grace and M2 Jane (I'm a Seth simp and wanted him at M6), imma stick with using them together lol. It's cool that Lucy is so good in a variety of teams,despite being highly slept on at launch.
Believe the P is for Passive Effect, its when you combine multiple copies of the same W-Engine into 1 to increase its passive effect it provides. All W-Engines you obtain will be P1 so feeding a duplicate of the same W-Engine to another of the same type would make it P2 and so forth up till the max of P5. The M1 is Mindscape of the character starting from M0 up to M6 with duplicates. So M0P1 would be 1 copy of the character and 1 copy of the signature W-Engine while M1P1 would be 2 copies of the same character and 1 W-Engine and so forth. If you are using a non-signature W-Engine its typically referred to as P0. So M0P0 would be 1 copy of the character that is using some W-Engine other than their signature one.

Her mindscapes are so weird to me. 4 sounds decent, 6 sounds useless, I only say that because of how hard M6 is to get for almost nothing, at first I was like 1600% sounds crazy but it turns out its not. But moving on, absolutely love Jane! and the saving for Ceasar starts since I want to pair them
She seems neat, but I was expecting/hoping for a sort of Neko/Piper fusion that attempts to balance building standard Crit and Anomaly and mixing both damage sources. "Just stack AP" is a bit generic (although I appreciate that it's easy/resource-cheap as a draw while everyone is broke in early patches) since hunting juicy-relics and min-maxing the Character screen is something I enjoy. I also wish they'd stop naming character-specific fixed-crit (Nahida, Robin, Jane, etc.) "Crit" but after ATK% != "combat ATK%" I'll just assume their tooltips are intentionally opaque as a prank. I'll still pull casually but if she doesn't come home I don't mind waiting for rerun. Shield-Biker looks cool too.
They name fixed crit "Crit" because it is crit. Period. If you are able to read, it is relatively easy to understand what Jane's abilities do. And while Attack works differently in ZZZ than it does in other Hoyo games (with the whole "combat attack" thing), it's really not rocket science either. It's all relatively simple to grasp.
Many seem to slap in Koleda anywhere as a stunner without her core skill active, wouldn't a good team be Jane, Grace & Koleda? Or would the addition of fire into the phys/lightning mix be bad? At least they'd all have their core skills active.
I have Koleda m1 and her s engine so I am interested in using her, at the moment I've been using Rina and not really enjoying it. My only concern is that Koledas buff wont go off with this comp.
What's your opinion on using Soukaku to replace Lucy? I find Lucy's buff uptime really inadequate without her mindscapes, and Soukaku does offer a chunky 1k buff with a long duration over Lucy's 600.
Is getting her to 2.5~2.7k ATK only possible through using an ATK% main stat disk? All other stats on my Jane are ideal but I can't get her to go past 2.1k unless I use a main stat disk, which then negatively affects her Anomaly stats. Of course my substat luck is atrocious, but even then...
What about running opposite element disc drives for disorder team? Like electric four piece on a team with Grace, so she gets buffed by the shock anomalies?
Quick question Lord Guoba. If running Seth with Jane, should I be aiming for 320 ap and pumping the rest of the sub stats into atk%? Slightly confused atm on what an ideal stat distribution looks like (should I just give up atk% to hit the 420 threshold purely from stats, ignoring seths buff?)

Wouldn't Anby be better than Qingyi since she can apply stun very fast and requires minimal field-time, thus letting Jane have more assaults made overall, or does the stun multiplier add that much to damage?
Well obviously Bangvolver requires 2 physical characters in the team, so would only work if you slot in Piper or Nekomata. If you're running double electric (Seth+Grace or Seth+Qingyi) then you can use Plugboo for more electric disorders, or Officer Cui
Pulled Jane but somehow didn't get Seth a single time. Not sure how to make a team now ugh, thinking of Jane Soukaku and Piper? My other potential options (Lucy and Anby) are on my s11 team.
I have my guarantee and she should show up in 50 pulls maximum. I should have at least 40 more pulls afterwards. I'm not sure if I should go for her W-engine. I don't think I'll even reach pity.

I heard that Attackers tend to have a higher ceiling, while Anomaly require less investment to get going. Is this the case for Jane as well?
Yes she doesnt need ability levels for anomaly DMG (core passive you gotta lvl though)

Cui works fine if only because it deals a shitload of damage. Otherwise use Magnetiboo and wait for Baddieboo. Use whatever for Lucy, just stack atk so she can buff Jane further, she'll barely even see play time in this team

Hey Guoba it would be amazing if you could do a Rina guide as I feel I'm playing her super sub-optimally. Especially focused on her rotation and the best way to keep her buffs up consistently?
8:12 sadly it only gives one more empty circle for the spin attack; you only get 1 spin attack per passion state entered as it says on her basic skill i think, so you can hold 2 but you need to enter passion state 2 times; its useful if you just kill mobs with chain/dash attacks and keep the spin for the next elites, otherwise i dont think it has any real value
It's just a stepping point for M2, nothing crazy

Ive seen mentions of full PEN Ratio Jane float around, utilizing Grace Engine, Seth and M1 Rina as supports as well as using 2 piece PEN Ratio Set and PEN Disc 5. However I'm not able to find any of the calculations and I'm not in the sauce enough to do them myself. Could you take a look, based Guoba? I'd love to be given a reason not to pull on the WEngine.

How is she compared to Piper? Seems obvious she'd be an improvement but by how much? Is it just the extra muliplier for triggering Assualts?
In your Qingyi guide, you had a section comparing her and Anby directly since they were the same archetype. This could benefit this guide as well since its the same situation.
They are not even in the same stratosphere, Piper is dogwater compared to Jane. The distance between Jane and Piper is like 5x larger than the distance between Qingyi and Anby. Playstyle, ease of use, anomaly buildup rate, damage floor, ceiling, it's borderline unfair to compare them. And I had mine well built, I essentially just gave Jane my Piper discs and will never use the latter again lol
Can we get a manual vs auto chain attack guide? I went with the "if it aint broke, don't fix it" approach but I've seen alot of talk about how manual is better.
Personally I just prefer to bind the cancel chain attack button, it lets you break out of chains if you didn't want them with, as far as i can tell, very little downside besides like half a second where you're checking if you want to cancel the chain or not
@@lrogan4634 I haven't really ran into the issue where I would want to cancel the chain attacks yet, and I have my teams ordered to where I go from stunner to support to DPS. I'm sure I have some room to min-max somewhere, but 1.0 chain attacks are comfortable for me.

Believe the P is for Passive Effect, its when you combine multiple copies of the same W-Engine into 1 to increase its passive effect it provides. All W-Engines you obtain will be P1 so feeding a duplicate of the same W-Engine to another of the same type would make it P2 and so forth up till the max of P5. The M1 is Mindscape of the character starting from M0 up to M6 with duplicates. So M0P1 would be 1 copy of the character and 1 copy of the signature W-Engine while M1P1 would be 2 copies of the same character and 1 W-Engine and so forth. If you are using a non-signature W-Engine its typically referred to as P0. So M0P0 would be 1 copy of the character that is using some W-Engine other than their signature one.
yes sig, because her sig gives 36% dmg so it saturates dmg%. the p stands for phase I believe because when you upgrade w-engines it says "next phase"

She seems neat, but I was expecting/hoping for a sort of Neko/Piper fusion that attempts to balance building standard Crit and Anomaly and mixing both damage sources. "Just stack AP" is a bit generic (although I appreciate that it's easy/resource-cheap as a draw while everyone is broke in early patches) since hunting juicy-relics and min-maxing the Character screen is something I enjoy.
I also wish they'd stop naming character-specific fixed-crit (Nahida, Robin, Jane, etc.) "Crit" but after ATK% != "combat ATK%" I'll just assume their tooltips are intentionally opaque as a prank.
I'll still pull casually but if she doesn't come home I don't mind waiting for rerun. Shield-Biker looks cool too.
They name fixed crit "Crit" because it is crit. Period. If you are able to read, it is relatively easy to understand what Jane's abilities do. And while Attack works differently in ZZZ than it does in other Hoyo games (with the whole "combat attack" thing), it's really not rocket science either. It's all relatively simple to grasp.

Many seem to slap in Koleda anywhere as a stunner without her core skill active, wouldn't a good team be Jane, Grace & Koleda?
Or would the addition of fire into the phys/lightning mix be bad? At least they'd all have their core skills active.
I have Koleda m1 and her s engine so I am interested in using her, at the moment I've been using Rina and not really enjoying it. My only concern is that Koledas buff wont go off with this comp.
What's your opinion on using Soukaku to replace Lucy? I find Lucy's buff uptime really inadequate without her mindscapes, and Soukaku does offer a chunky 1k buff with a long duration over Lucy's 600.
Is getting her to 2.5~2.7k ATK only possible through using an ATK% main stat disk? All other stats on my Jane are ideal but I can't get her to go past 2.1k unless I use a main stat disk, which then negatively affects her Anomaly stats. Of course my substat luck is atrocious, but even then...
What about running opposite element disc drives for disorder team? Like electric four piece on a team with Grace, so she gets buffed by the shock anomalies?
Quick question Lord Guoba. If running Seth with Jane, should I be aiming for 320 ap and pumping the rest of the sub stats into atk%? Slightly confused atm on what an ideal stat distribution looks like (should I just give up atk% to hit the 420 threshold purely from stats, ignoring seths buff?)
You can still go for more AP. With seth buff included I dont know the exact difference but its good to be safe if his buff isnt up

Well obviously Bangvolver requires 2 physical characters in the team, so would only work if you slot in Piper or Nekomata. If you're running double electric (Seth+Grace or Seth+Qingyi) then you can use Plugboo for more electric disorders, or Officer Cui
Pulled Jane but somehow didn't get Seth a single time. Not sure how to make a team now ugh, thinking of Jane Soukaku and Piper? My other potential options (Lucy and Anby) are on my s11 team.
I have my guarantee and she should show up in 50 pulls maximum. I should have at least 40 more pulls afterwards. I'm not sure if I should go for her W-engine. I don't think I'll even reach pity.
