Great video. I wish I had seen your video last weekend. The alternator hinge bolt was hard to figure out. It's the same design for 2008 KIA Spectra EX.
I've changed belts before, so I thought I could change the squealing belt on my 2008 Sportage, but seeing how hard it is to simply get at the belts, I'll be paying my local mechanic to do it. Thanks for the video.

Hi, thanks for this video. I know it was a while ago, but I'm trying yo change my alternator belt at the moment. I have undone the top bolts as you showed, but the bottom bolt has no nut on it at all, just a washer. Could there be something else holding the alternator in place? Thanks

shame about the wheel bolt, also you need new ratchet tool, it was slipping! ( ahh i see you did change it) was wheel bolts caused by over tightening or lack of anti seize grease?
Thank you for your feedback first your observation is very thorough second i bought a new ratchet and it's brand is powerfix third regarding your question the bolt quality is not that good because its Korean car forth you can't put grease on the tiers bolt due to safety hazards because it will make the nuts loosen up

😅me too …when you placing it in wrong the tension rol will stuck and won’t roll freely
