I love these. I had an ex whos dad has these. Always thought they sound very alive. Use them as fronts for my home cinema now. I havent used my subwoofer for over a year. I have much more expensive B&Ws that are better but I also really really love these Missions. They do really well on most amps I have and on all volumes, even very quit at night.
Like stepping back into 1995, just the build up up to Xmas, after a hot summer, your mates dad smoking a fat cigar kicking in a bottle of dark spirit of some sort and you are taken back with the depth of that sound- what happened to the world ? Used to be such quality - such fun
I have a pair of these too and they are superb in every way! The real beauty of these is you don't need a massive room for them to sound great. I've owned them since 1995 and probably always will. The wife goes before these do...….
Had a set of these when they first released cost £800. I just couldn't afford a good enough amp to run them as I understand they are pretty demanding speakers if you want the best out of them.
Same here, I picked a pair up £800 in rosewood and was running them on an integrated Techniques amp. Was saving for the Audiolab 8000C and 2 x 8000M but, I never quite got there.
I have 4 of these and am looking for another 2 for 7.2 Sound combined with a REL Sub, and Q accustics QB12 Sub. Not sure how that women can say 2 drivers are not connected

vex123 if yours are the non freedom model I would say a Cyrus 3 is a good match, or a Cyrus 3i if yours are the freedom version. I am using a 3 with my 753 think they have good synergy better than the Audiolabs I had
Sorry.... One of the worst speakers ever. 2 of the drive units are not even connected. The only thing good about them that made people buy them was they are heavy thick mdf cabinets. In terms of sound they are flat. 752's are just as bad. People just bought these because they have lots of drive units.

This is one Mission speaker I could never get too excited about. Too squawky in the mids and bass light.
Which version did u have?
@@e3befree what version is the best the normal or freedom version?
Super!
what amp/amps and source are being used behind the 753's?
mcintosh amplifier
How is the bass? I'm hoping to use my pair for home theatre + Music listening

Hi, I have these speakers how do you rate them? What speaker and interconnect cables do you use? Thanks
I have these speakers , still use audioquest indigo 2 speaker cable
Hi, I have the Mission 753 speakers too. Do you know what's a good amplifier setup to use?

What is the title
of the song ?
Hi.
I used to have mission m72. Are this ones musical your opinion?
they are great dynamic sounding speakers, that's my opinion
Hi, do you use banana plugs? If so are they gold or silver? Thanks.
On these Mission 753 loudspeakers I only used wire, I do use gold & silver banana plugs, I really can't hear much difference between the two
body & soul?
Is this a non freedom version? This speaker i believe that is made in uk unlike made in China nowadays.
Your right, it's a non freedom version, made in England

Why is a flat sound bad?
Obviously Samantha hasn't a clue what she's talking about, I suggest you Google them, 95% rave reviews, make an appointment for an ear exam.......
@@ianexcalibur7096 lol, you've made my day! :)) I enjoy listening to them. I have two pairs: a Freedom and a none Freedom edition.
I think she’s trying to drive the price down so she can afford a pair. Samantha is Obviously not an audiophile
My only regret.....
Selling them😞😞😞
