- The ISRO has released first ever-images of the moon as captured by Chandrayaan-3 during Lunar orbit insertion. ISRO put out the video with the caption “Chandrayaan-3 Mission: The Moon, as viewed by Chandrayaan-3 during Lunar Orbit Insertion” Chandrayaan-3 was successfully inserted into the lunar orbit on August 5, informed ISRO. A retro-burning at the Perilune was commanded from the Mission Operations Complex (MOX), ISTRAC, Bengaluru. Earlier on Aug 05, ISRO successfully performed Trans Lunar Injection (TLI) to slingshot Chandrayaan-3 towards moon. Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft is continuing its circuitous journey to the moon with a series of burns to raise its orbit. The world witnessed the historic lift-off of Chandrayaan-3 on July 14. ISRO launched India’s third lunar exploration mission from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota on July 14.

China has Chang'e 1Chang'e 2 and Chang'e 3 with ROVER Jade Rabbit already still roaming on the moon . SO proud of CHINA and RUSSIA friends of india and great asian nations. Hopefully now india too will join the club and have own ROVER on the moon.

@@kable3 Russia is going to soft land on South Pole before india, Their Luna 25 mission will be going directly to the moon on a much bigger rocket in 10th Aug 2013, and they are landing in the moon's south pole. Russia is carrying Chinese equipment as well as having close cooperation with China since they are already on the moon in a big way, they have many orbiters and relay satellites and EVEN china has landed on the far side which is also called the DARK SIDE of the moon which can not be seen from earth and little is known by humans about it. ONLY CHINA has been able to SOFT LAND on dark side as it is very VERY difficult and communication and telemetry is most complex and difficult. China also has launched THREE SPACE STATIONS and their current main space station is very modern and big as well as modular so they are adding and growing it fast. China already has many persons in their space station , who are doing many experiments .
