Honestly I don't care if people spend on this game. People can spend their money how they like. I just feel like comments like this alienate anyone who enjoys the challenge of playing f2p. Especially after this VoC where my guild (that's basically a f2p/dolphin guild) was berated by people who said our actions were making this game fail. Sure the game is free but from what I've seen from people on reddit and discord this game feels heavily monetized. The Halloween event was a great example of this. If you weren't spending money in the event it wasn't really worth grindy out. Which goes against what people expect holiday events to be in f2p games. Genshin Impact had this problem last year but the community hated it. Events should drive player engagement not hinder it. I find it unsettling that people don't understand that these business practices are harmful to the industry. We're already seeing this effect games like Overwatch 2, where the prices are blatantly high because people aren't willing to ask themselves how much something actually cost. 50k gems cost about $380 if you buy them straight from the store. If you spend half of that every time a new champion is released then you're already spending more then Overwatch 2 expects their players to spend.
If you're referring to my comments in the video I was specifically referring to people won't spend money on the free game because the game is free. The problem with that logic is that it dooms the game you like to failure for no reason. That's NOT a comment against people who don't think it's worth the cost. And I made sure to say that you don't HAVE to spend anything. It's just the idea that there's something wrong with spending anything that I'm against. It's perfectly fine to spend money or to not spend money.
You can still get the Lycanis companion, without spending, you need to get 60 favourability fragments for Lycanis and then ‘use them’ in your inventory. Also, I can’t wait to see your immersive lore-telling video for the new White Eye clan!!!

So, when I saw the title for this video, I was like "oh no, he's gone and done it". "He's joined the dark side and started spending" lolz. I kid of course, it's actually nice to see that chapter fund of diamonds get spent all at once on an event like this. Definitely seems to have been worth it and I'm glad you got such good pulls, your ascension order is gonna be easy work for whichever one you decide to pick for that. That and the fact you got the companion is awesome. I'm about half way into getting her with no mythics to show for it yet. Gonna try to grind my way towards some more pulls but if it doesn't work out, I might have a mouse slip of my own, lolz. Also, earth angel? Rage says he got the music selections on point here too, lolz. You know these kids on here don't know anything about some Marvin Berry, lmao. So is this game not universal? I don't have the White eye event at all. I am only able to summon classes atm. I have stopped the app and reloaded it multiple times so not quite sure what that is all about.
Why don't I have the White Eye event? Makes no sense. Instead after waiting 3 days for the previous event to finally finish, I've got an event for Lume?!?!?!?! What the F-bomb?! I just picked up the game like 2 weeks ago, but already wanna uninstall... so triggering that bloody everyone is spending a ton and summoning these new orcs left right and center, I'm just here watching... even had to use up my few resources to finally get some half decent heroes because I'm stuck everywhere, but of course no luck...
Just remember this game is a slow burn. If your server is less than 28 days old you won't see the event. But it'll all even out in time. At your level you should be focusing on getting a mythic travain companion with your diamonds in my opinion

On the campaign map I'm getting slaugthered, my next mission is to clear the next stage of the campaign which I can't, on the Lume event I'm now facing enemies over twice as strong as my best team and what I've left as gameplay is making babies and interrogate prisoners with a little bit of dungeon exploration every 2 days. Not the best experience tbh. After I've used my gems I've got my hands on a legendary male Tidestorm which could replace my female epic tidestorm, IF he wouldn't completely suck... I've got both legendary Lumes as well, but the female one is also bad, so I might shift to the male and see what happens. And I've got a mythic female Aeason, which wouldn't be so bad I guess, if my team were built for it and could survive until a heal is charged up, but can't. I can only think of drastic measures to progress further, but I really don't want to. Or I'll wait several days or weeks, just collecting money for level ups... =/

I disagree. The male counters the f lionstone meta. And I think he wins top level games. The female is great for sustain comps. Which isn't top tier for arena, but for many other game modes its really good. Even in voc healing is very strong if you are fighting many times in a row, dungeon descent likes healers, guardian defense, and so on. It's OK for us to disagree, though, and I'm very happy you responded back! Thanks!

Really great summons... I did 150 summon and the only mythic had was a gryphon... At least i got 15 copies m and 11 copies f of new heroes..
