I could tell you a great story about my trip to Yellowstone with my family 70 years ago, but it involves a Grizzly bear, and I don't want to scare the sh** out of Ryan (LOL). It's a funny and true story. Based on your excellent video, the moral of the story about bears is to never go on a hike in Yellowstone without your drone! What a great video. It took me back in time. Thanks.
@@SailingSunday Hey, I'm just saying that I never thought about a drone. If it's you against a Grizzley, launch the drone. Great move Ryan. Congratulations on the soon to be addition to your family.
Aw that black water dump stop had me gagging. When I travelled around Oz, even though there was a toilet in the van, I used a bucket for this very reason! 😂❤
Really enjoying the road tripping adventure, once you made it west of the Mississippi it has all been new teritory for me, the only time I've been west of the river, I was in San Antonio TX, Lackland AFB to be exact... 6 weeks of Air Force basic training, so I didn't get to see any the countryside. Couple more years when I retire, I plan on doing what you guys are doing right now, probably towing a small camper behind my pickup. I'm thinking those droppings might have been elk droppings, little larger but very similar to deer droppings.
I know you're probably in BC now so telling you to stay safe is redundant but I'm happy you have a healthy respect for the wildlife especially with Jackson 🤗💞
Groovy episode. A bear will reach into your vehicle and pull a human right out from it. And then, of course, EAT YOU. Don't pet baby bears, because once again, the mother bear will EAT YOU. LOL!
When dumping my tanks I wear those disposable gloves and have spray bleach which I spray into the hose and rinse out with the water hose that is usually there. I did see a couple empty their tanks and they didn’t have the connection on the end to put it into the hole and they just emptied it into the cement containment area which did go into the ground but still very nasty 🤷♂️🤮
I have bears walk threw my property in the summer. They get in my trash usually when the fish are gone. There's really no need to be that fearful. Just dont try to pat them😮
I don't want to freak you out, but _please_ consider doing a bit of research about *foxtail grass;* specifically, the hazards to dogs. I first learned of them via Nikki Delventhal, a YT content creator, & one of her dogs, Camper, who had one removed from his nose last year, & very recently, his ear canal. When it was in his nasal cavity, he was sneezing repeatedly. With his ear canal, I believe he kept shaking his head. *They can be fatal if not removed.* They can also cause skin irritations, which can lead to infections so you might want to up Jackson's brushings after hikes. I'm sure that foxtails are found all throughout the States, but since Nikki travels mainly out West, which seems the direction y'all are heading, you might want to familiarize yourselves with them (I'm an East Coast chick, & had never heard of them). Watching Jackson romping amidst the tall grasses in this video was what made me think of Camper's incidents. ✌
My goodness you were close to having to file for Wyoming residency that would make 500,004 humans (I'm including Jackson) and one million antelope. Our bears are slightly larger than Koala's. My scatology expertise sezs thats antelope poo.
Ya dude bears 🐻 are dangerous even the black bears are dangerous especially the older males. Still sharks 🦈 are scarier, because of the hole water aspect. lol
Our neighbour is called "biting bear" after he was bitten by a bear while working on the highway in Northwestern Ontario. When he told me the story, I couldn't believe he survived with very little wounds.
I sure wouldn’t hike in any of those areas wearing flip flops. Snakes, poison bugs, thorns, rocks, etc. plus they have a slippery sole. Typical young tourists!

Glad to hear you enjoyed it!! Luckily we learned our lesson with the drone before we entered the park so we didn’t get in trouble lol

Land yachting.... Bloody marvelous... Now don't pat the baby bears... Mumma bear will take your head off with one swipe...
Will try to refrain from patting the angry momma bears😆😆

How someone could drive away leaving it in that state is beyond me 😳 there is a hose to clean up the area if you spill for a reason…
Pretty sure that hose will store in the back bumper
And there should be a plug for each end of the hose
Yah Ryan’s really winging it here, many lessons to learn lol
Nicely done. Perfect blend of humor, beauty, and information!
Thank you, awesome to hear you’re enjoying it!!

10:50 or maybe it’s exactly the bear deterrent necessary 😊
Next trip to Yellowstone you should take the bear tooth pass. It’s epic!!!‘
We can’t wait to go back again someday! So much to see and do
Ryan & Bears!! OH, NO!
He…was….terrified! Haha
@@SailingSunday He needs to be a bear this Halloween.
😂🤣😅

So glad to hear you’re enjoying the videos! We had so much fun on this trip, land boats are so much fun hahaha!!
We filmed in the Bad Lands for a feature Film called, Thunder Heart.
Nice! The badlands were incredible
I know you're probably in BC now so telling you to stay safe is redundant but I'm happy you have a healthy respect for the wildlife especially with Jackson 🤗💞
Haha yah biggest fear is Jackson chasing the wildlife, not a great time to see a bear when he’s out lol zero survival instinct
So fun to watch!!
Thank you for watching!! So glad you are enjoying it ☺️
Hope you're safe 😊
I've camped there! So awesome
Beautiful spot!
What about flathead cherrys 🍒😸
Good video 👍
Glad to hear you enjoyed it!
Great video, heart worm is transmitted by mosquitos.
Yes you’re right!! Jackson also got a tick disease along with his heartworm so I mixed them up during my Voice over 😆

Lol but then why are they so cute!!! Unfair…
@@SailingSunday When I was a kid in the early 60's we use to feed the baby bears from our car window. We grew up watching Yogi Bear on TV. LOL!
I hate to tell you but there are paper things called "Road Maps" available at petrol stations to show you where to go. They are not free!
Unfortunately we were past civilization by the time we realized we lost our maps lol
Does it smell bad when you drain the poop
Dude! Gloves!
Let’s put it this way….It doesn’t smell good😆 especially when the previous people make a mess.
"It's the best time to get eaten by a bear". 😳 There is a best time? Sail Safe Guys, Ant & Cid xx
Gotta stay positive and see the good in every situation 😆😆😆😆

Yah ryan definitely needs gloves, but he’s not very organized yet unfortunately lol lots of soap and sanitizer instead which isn’t ideal 🤢
Where are your disposable gloves????
Apparently Ryan likes to live life on the edge instead of investing in a $1 box of gloves
Watch out for Sasquatch. THAT’s Elk poop dude.
Also Not to be confused with chocolate covered almonds
Is your home (boat) safely located?
I have bears walk threw my property in the summer. They get in my trash usually when the fish are gone. There's really no need to be that fearful. Just dont try to pat them😮
It’s like when people come to Australia and think they are going to get eaten by a snake or attacked by a spider lol. The fear is embedded 😅😅
@SailingSunday I get it fear is real

You need to watch Robin Williams movie RV, he’ll show you how it’s done right. Lol.
Robin Williams is the best will have to check it out!
hey did you notice the difference in size of that mark your shoulder?
look at your videos a year ago vs now
please get it checked
To late to matter here, but, 'They' don't permit drones in National Parks.
Yah, the bear we saw was before we entered the national park, we didn’t dare bring it out after that, regardless of wether they were allowed or not 😆
My goodness you were close to having to file for Wyoming residency that would make 500,004 humans (I'm including Jackson) and one million antelope. Our bears are slightly larger than Koala's. My scatology expertise sezs thats antelope poo.
We loved wyoming! Can’t wait to go back and spend more time exploring ☺️☺️ thanks for watching!
Definitely elk droppings not deer! :)
Good spotting!
Bears won't eat him. He is from Aussie and bears know Aussies taste bad and will make them sick. 🙂
Throw on a bit of bbq sauce she’ll be right….
Ya dude bears 🐻 are dangerous even the black bears are dangerous especially the older males. Still sharks 🦈 are scarier, because of the hole water aspect. lol
Shakes are scary because you can’t hear them coming lol

Yikes that sounds scary!!!
Top video. But still no gloves... yikes.
Lol yup Ryan’s still living life on the edge 🤢

just have ryan drop trousers and do the windmill that should scare all wildlife with in miles, joking, don't do that ever
Or make them laugh hard enough they feel bad eating him😆
You wanna see remote move to Otis Oregon. Quit whining about remote. You’re on a main thoroughfare. Drama queens
Lol whining? I don’t recall whining….we loved it
