I have created videos for the entire album: • Pink Floyd | Animals |...
Acting as Pink Floyd’s message to their fans, “Sheep,” initially entitled “Raving and Drooling,” continues the theme developed in the album. Lyrically, “Sheep” describes a circumstance where people follow an ideology without knowing the reason.
Similarly, in Animal Farm, the novella that inspired the album, the sheep were the animals that would burst blindly into a chant of “Four Legs Good, Two Legs Bad.” They did as they were told without any hesitation-they went along with the ideals of the rest of the sheep and the majority of the animals. This theme evidences itself through the lyrics of the song where the sheep follow the rules set for them.

I remember the day this album was released. My friends and I got really high and listened to it for hours.
Same, sat on a beanbag in my buddy's basement, first time I ever used headphones, second time I ever got high. I will never, ever forget that experience, it changed my entire view of music.
No one ever will come anywhere close to what Pink Floyd has been in the music world. They were so much more than musicians. I’d say they were visionary, creative, politically and socially conscious. Animal was one of their best work ever but not the end of Pink Floyd

Pink Floyd , especially in concert, were my generation's cultural High Mass.
Or the Grateful Dead. But I have been to more Floyd Concerts than Dead shows. And more Pink tribute bands out there.
High end Stereo Receivers/Amps when PF made their Albums always had VU meters on them. What made us so enthralled with the music was their "white noise" in their recordings. Even in the quiet moments those VU meters would be pounding! Loved it then and still do.
Interesting. I wonder if that's from the music being produced with tangible instruments rather than digital recordings like most nowadays.?
Pink Floyd is one of my all-time favorite bands and animals was probably their greatest album in my opinion. Somehow the words just resonated with me and brought back memories I didn't know I had. I particularly like the track dogs, because it reminds me of my first pet. She was a boxer named Carolina that was sweet and kind and would let all the neighborhood kids jump on her pull her ears do anything they want and she never complained. However, Lord help anybody who was a grown up and tried to approach all of us kids, because she would become fierce and would not let them come close.

Been listening to Pink Floyd since the 70's .....Sheep is one of my favorite songs on the Animals album.....loved tripping off on it....if there was AI and a video like this for the song back then , it would have blown a lot of minds...including mine.....awesome.
I can only imagine what peoples reactions would have been if they could have watched this during that time. I think you're right, some fuses would have been shorted from the sensory overload! lol!

I saw the Animals tour in Miami years ago, SPLENDID but windy, the wind blew apart some of the stage scenery. Best band ever.
This was utterly fascinating, a huge fan of PF for decades but the visuals on this was insane! The only issue was the commercial break in the middle lol

I calculate all that by listening to the song, and taking note of the time and direction that I imagine it to go in, then I take that time value and convert it into a keyframe number, which is a value based on what the desired output fps will be. To say it another way, I create a scheduled sequence for the motion parameters in every 2d and 3d axis, using variated values of strength (intensity along respective axis) and that is referenced with a keyframe value.

I grew up on Floyd & your animation sends me spinning back to my crazy happy irresponsible psychedelic days in the 70's when posters on the wall came to life & Bambi walked out of the picture leaving Thumper under a tree. Houses were made of marshmallow & walls breathed in & out. Thank you for this particular piece of art, makes me feel even more glad I've been vegan for decades.

@Trippy Vortex Allo my old mucker, The music combined with the imagery is simply superb - as always. The first time I heard Pink Floyd and especially their long pieces like "Echoes" it took me on a mindscope journey like NONE OTHER.

Curious you said that because Syd managed to create music in a chaotic way yet strangely (as his band mates recall from working on his solo albums) his music arrived in the most perfect ordered ending.
Then, there's the question of whether everything happens to a preordained plan?
Are we the disciples of some cosmic order and creator (bigger than us and beyond our comprehension) OR are we living in a universe we write ourselves?
Is music a way to tap into the very essence of that reality or unreality?

It looks like the AI has a firm grasp of the concept of psychedelic.
I'd agree but I don't think it had as good a grasp of the meaning of the song, it should have been a lot darker it is about sheep being led to slaughter after all. I imagined something completely different for "Meek and obedient you follow the leader down well-trodden corridors into the valley of steel" same with "Wave upon wave of demented avengers March cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream".
