I loved all of these videos...thanks! I took Prima on this exact same itinerary back in August and loved it. It was awesome how many of the ship's crew I recognized from the restaurants and bars and entertainment. Great job! 🙂

Thank you so much! We really liked it too! Of course, there are always little things they can change, but it was a great time!

Hopefully! You should be able to! All of the activity this year has been occurring closer to Reykjavik and in the south. This was all in the north of Iceland.

Our same cruise is coming up in August. Your input was priceless. After disembarking in Iceland, we have enough time to do blue lagoon hot springs before our flight leaves. Any suggestions? Will it be easy to find tour operators at airport or do we have to do car rental?

Thanks for the great feedback! We did not do the Blue Lagoon since we probably did not have enough time, but there are transfers to/from Keflavik (airport) and to/from Reykjavik that you can book directly with the Blue Lagoon itself. Maybe that is an option? You can find more here www.bluelagoon.com/how-to-get-here

@@theseasonedexpats .. You are right about not having enough time on disembarkation day. So, we have modified our shore bus tour to include the "Golden Circle & Blue Lagoon" a day before disembarking. It will be a long day, with our return to the ship close to midnight. Fortunately, the ship will remain in port for the last two days. Thanks for your help.

Great video! What port excursion company did you use? Thanks!

Thanks! We used Iceland Horizons. You can find them at icelandhorizon.is

Thank you so much!!! We’ve always used Viator when not using the ship’s company and have experienced cancellations last summer in the Med.

Where did you buy tour for akureyri? I checked viator and it's $300 per person? Like you videos very informative

Thank you so much! We booked a shore excursion directly through Iceland Horizons (icelandhorizon.is/tours/akureyri/), however I do not see the exact tour that we took anymore, and you are right, prices have gone way up! We paid a total of 39,800 ISK (approx $286) for two people (19,900 ISK per person). We have added a couple tours that are very similar from Viator to the video description which are a bit less than $300. Hope this helps!

Was there a stopper valve on the sinks to plug them for laundry? We’ve tried doing laundry on cruises but it’s always hard because the ships don’t let you push down on the stoppers or the sinks are too small.

Yes, there was a stopper, and the sink on the Prima and Viva are actually quite large. Some of the other ships we have been on do have small sinks, but you can wash at least the delicates or smaller items of clothing in them.
