Was no one gonna tell me I accidentally left a section without the overlay footage so you just had to stare at my dirty counter for 20seconds? 😂 Y’all are so nice 🥲
Bahaha girl I thought they was on the counter. I was like damn I really am going blind she said they were big bugs and i cant see anything hahaaa getting older so funnn
I love the progression of this video. From the bugs that you love and you feed weekly, to the fly you don’t want to suffer, to the mealybugs that can just SUFFOCATE all night! 😂
Totally down to see a milsbo tall terrarium video! And I’m so sorry you’ve had mealybugs for that long! Mealy bugs are such a pain to get rid of. Fingers crossed it’s almost over🤞🏼
Hi Harli, I really hate those stupid mealy bugs, and I have been dealing with them on most of my Hoya and did lose two plants. Thanks so much for what you are using to kill those stupid bugs, and I will for sure mix that up and spray those stupid bugs, all I have been doing is using rubbing alcohol with the cotton swabs and this mixture really makes me happy to try. Thanks so much for this awesome video, I always really appreciate what plant care you share. I am wishing you a beautiful and blessed day and also the weekend coming up. sending love and hugs, bye! 😂😍🤗👋👋👍💜💜💜
I want to see more terrarium stuff! You've inspired me to try it out but I'm not confident in what that means yet. So I'd love to see more of your terrariums! Also your little carnivorous bog. I just got my first sundews and pitcher plants saracenia!
Abutilon grows downward, so no matter how much you try to train it, it’ll droop. If the one in my backyard wasn’t a tree, I’d move it up/onto something. I bet that would look cool on a shelf above your head
Harli, get yourself some nano tape..use for sticking anything (i.e. your lights) to something and it's reusable. Can be used indoors or outdoors. Check the weight limits. It's the best thing since sliced bread. 12:28
Hi Harli, I once Had mealybugs on my Hoya too. I kept treating the plant but they came back every time. After I gave Up, I found out, that they Had lived on the roots and kept crawling Up from there. Maybe you should Look at this. Love your videos! Claudia
For attaching your light, maybe try Sugru moldable glue? I’m going to try it when I do mine, I’ve used it for hanging light outside terrariums with great results.
My krinkle 8 got the mealies so bad I couldn't take it anymore so I tossed it. But I would recommend you dunk the entire plant in a big tub of your solution. Let it sit for about 10-15 minutes, then rinse it off. Personally, I go nuclear now and use a serious poison with imidacloprid in it. I have given up on potions.
I found 1 mealy bug on my newly aquired Ficus Shivereana from my local grocery store... Nothing for 2 months.... Then 1 more!!! Gah!! They must be lovers of the hiding in the dirt.... It had to have hatched and crawled its way out of the soil. None since, thank goodness. 😊 ❤ I hope you're finally on the tail end of your infestation... 😬
U should get a small curtain rod it's a extention rod it's skinny and u can tie light on to it and one and done I did that to my lights because they continued to fall off😊
Try a chunky mix, mine love it, I just bottom water them, diluted fertilizer in growing season. Good luck🌱🤗💚 also I'm in Southern California, and they are on my patio.
I’m trying magnets on the back of my lights in the metal cabinets. You still have to stick them on the back of the light but so far(2-3 months) they are holding better.
Love it Harli. Oh mealies are so aggravating I have a few plants that I can’t seem to “cure”. I just ordered Crazee mites today to try, I hear they are great for mealies. 🤞🏻. Would love more videos on your terrarium cabinet. I’ve started accumulating the supplies to turn my two cabinets into terrariums.
Thanks for all contents and since you asked if we need anything :) yes please i need to know if I’m fertilizing my plant with different fertilizers during the month so how should i schedule and whats for the soil and whats for the leafs
I've had mealies on my hoyas also. I changed alll the soils, washed the plants & pots, then sprayed with alcohol. I then seperated them into different rooms. I think I'm winning!! Did you know they crawl off the plant and onto tables or wherever you have them? Just found that out.
I hope you see this… Add Diatomaceous earth to that mix of yours. The Diatomaceous will stay on your leaves after the water dries and kill those lil buggers! That’s the only way got rid of mine. Water and Diatomaceous earth in a spray bottle and let it sit for a while. I never saw them again 😎
Love your videos…Bismarck is adorable! I’ve been battling mealies on some plants (succulents mostly)……can the full plant be dunked into a solution (or soaked) or would that kill the plant?
Super curious about the terrarium too!! So your spray is just water diluted rubbing alcohol? I’ve been spot treating one of my plants with rubbing alcohol and q tips
Curious what your thoughts are on banana peel water for plants? My bestie soaks banana peels in the water she uses for her plants. Agree and if so, all plants?
Hi, Id like to request a proper thrips video, maybe you already have one, I dunno. I saw you fight spider mites once. Ive had them all summer and I go thru stages where I kneel before them and throw away plants and when I say NO, ill fight you!!! So far Im down 20 plants that I gave to the bin with them on it. No expensive plants lucky enough. I just recently bhought some orius and predator bugs, they been around for about a week now, hope they will make a difference... Also im in Sweden, so some stuff plant people recommend (in the US) isnt available to me, dr doom spray for example. thanks
I feel this! I'm beyond done with these mf mealies. I also love seeing them turn red and die lmao. I just douse my plants at this point because it's been damn near a year and I feel I'm close to the complete end. Fingers crossed for me yall
was informed adult male mealybugs can fly, so I'm a little concerned they are in the same room. i've thrown away 3 infested plants so far, after treating and watching them slowly die, i took out the plant b4 throwing away and they are all clustered around the roots.
Mealy bugs are the actual devil. My LARGE variegated hoya carnosa compacta was destroyeddddd, destroyed, by mealies. It spread from another hoya to many of my plants and has been the actual worst thing ever. Tried neem treatment too and it did nothing.
While it looks cool...I would never plant anything in that small blue vase you purchased. Due to the shape...if the plant ever became overgrown...you'd never be able to get it out of the pot without breaking up the plant or the pot. I speak from experience.
Thanks for all contents and since you asked if we need anything :) yes please i need to know if I’m fertilizing my plant with different fertilizers during the month so how should i schedule and whats for the soil and whats for the leafs

LOL I thought you were showing us bugs too.
LOL! I thought I was supposed to be looking for bugs on the counter. 🤣
I noticed it lol and was like oh, ok. 🤷🏻♀️

I know that I've made a similar comment before... just have to reiterate how precious Bismarck is 💚🐶💚 Your constant companion❤❤❤
Totally down to see a milsbo tall terrarium video!
And I’m so sorry you’ve had mealybugs for that long! Mealy bugs are such a pain to get rid of. Fingers crossed it’s almost over🤞🏼
Love the terrarium find. Will watch a video if you make it. No reason to apologize.
Just take care of you!
Bismarck is so cute when he looks at you with his “love me mommy” eyes. Good luck with the mealy bug war! 🧡
for the ikea cabinet you totally should silicon magnets to the light , since the cabinet is metal u can then magnet ur light anywhere u want
Thank you Harli, I sprayed all my plants just to be on the safe side.

Parlor maples have such beautiful flowers!
I got rid of my mealies with a solution of just water and alcohol. After much persistence, I eradicated them. You got this!
Harli, get yourself some nano tape..use for sticking anything (i.e. your lights) to something and it's reusable. Can be used indoors or outdoors. Check the weight limits. It's the best thing since sliced bread. 12:28
Hate mealies,good luck👍
💚🌱☘️🌵💚
I love your thrift finds! I’d really enjoy an update on your ikea cabinet!
I would love to see an update on all the plants inside the big terrarium and any terrarium
I love the glass with cork ball❤
Hi Harli, I once Had mealybugs on my Hoya too. I kept treating the plant but they came back every time. After I gave Up, I found out, that they Had lived on the roots and kept crawling Up from there. Maybe you should Look at this.
Love your videos! Claudia
That flowering maple is looking beautiful! I need to get mine inside
Love the 3 items you purchased!
I make a slightly different bug spray with peppermint castel soap and tree tree castil soap with the alcohol and hydrogen peroxide mixed with water.
For attaching your light, maybe try Sugru moldable glue? I’m going to try it when I do mine, I’ve used it for hanging light outside terrariums with great results.
I just noticed mealybugs for the first time on my houseplants yesterday haha, this video couldn’t be more well timed ❤
You’ve got this 🤝

My brother has isopods and i L.O.V.E them! They are so fascinating to watch. He offered me a small colony and i may have to do it.
We also call them rolly pollies LOL
Aw I called them that growing up! You totally should!
Yes! Would absolutley love to see more cabinet content🤩

Yes! Definitely want to see full video of tall terrarium! 🎉
I think you got it!❤❤❤
U should get a small curtain rod it's a extention rod it's skinny and u can tie light on to it and one and done I did that to my lights because they continued to fall off😊
I'd love to see a video on how you got your begonia to be so beautiful! I struggle with them!
Try a chunky mix, mine love it, I just bottom water them, diluted fertilizer in growing season. Good luck🌱🤗💚 also I'm in Southern California, and they are on my patio.
Can’t wait to see the pottery haul!! I have 3 pieces coming from 2 different Etsy shops and I can’t wait!! It’s so fun getting new pots
Love the video!!! Would love to see a Monstera Thai constellation care and update video
Thank you for the video Harli 🪴🌵🌿

Love the terrarium!! 😍

I love your videos
I use systemic now for the darn mealies… I’m over them.
Thanks for all contents and since you asked if we need anything :) yes please i need to know if I’m fertilizing my plant with different fertilizers during the month so how should i schedule and whats for the soil and whats for the leafs
Love Bismarck in the end clips! How long have you had him? ❤❤
We’ve had him 7 yrs & he’s 7! My moms dog had puppies & we kept him 😋
I've had mealies on my hoyas also. I changed alll the soils, washed the plants & pots, then sprayed with alcohol. I then seperated them into different rooms. I think I'm winning!! Did you know they crawl off the plant and onto tables or wherever you have them? Just found that out.
I've had mealies for years. We just co-exist with each other. So I'm going to use your solution because nothing has worked for me so far
I’ve been fighting mealy bugs too! I hate them!!
Fingers crossed those mealies are under control! I just found 2 of my 90 plants with them (again) a Hoya (of course) and my Brasil. Ugh.
Milsbo tall video YES PLEASE!
Maybe try magents for the terrarium light?
I hope you see this…
Add Diatomaceous earth to that mix of yours. The Diatomaceous will stay on your leaves after the water dries and kill those lil buggers! That’s the only way got rid of mine. Water and Diatomaceous earth in a spray bottle and let it sit for a while. I never saw them again 😎
Why don't you get some magnet hooks for the light with a couple of zip ties. The light won't ever fall ❤️
I’m wondering about your insect pets. Was it praying mantis? Curious what happened with them.
Thanks Harli!
Mealies are so hard to get rid of. They keep coming back and I use sprays and systemic granules
Use magnets to hold the light! maybe the moisture ruins the tape..
🦋🦋🦋You should do another bog garden😍🥰💖💖💖
I’m considering turning my 6’ terrarium into one 🤭
Ive been refraining from asking..but are those monstera shaped crocs youve been wearing..theyre so cute..
💚💚
Curious what your thoughts are on banana peel water for plants? My bestie soaks banana peels in the water she uses for her plants. Agree and if so, all plants?
Updated Hoya collection video?!! Pleaseeeeee

I want to see a terrarium care video 🙋🏾♀️❤
I feel this! I'm beyond done with these mf mealies. I also love seeing them turn red and die lmao. I just douse my plants at this point because it's been damn near a year and I feel I'm close to the complete end. Fingers crossed for me yall
I spray with hydrogen perooxide and water my plants with hydrogen peroxde when i see mealy bugs, it works!
You should use magnets instead of velcro.
So does the systemic you use not work on mealies? I just started using for root mealies. Hope it does!
It does! I use them in conjunction with the spray to get rid of them a little more quickly
Use magnets in the cabinet.
Do you still sell anything is your shop? I found it but there were no plants. I love all of your plants
Hey! I do, but I’m on a hiatus thanks to the mealy bugs ☹️
@HarliG ok I understand thank you.
Doesn’t the systemic granules kill them?
Yes but if I spray alongside the systemic it should take care of them a little more quickly bc I’m treating more life stages at once
was informed adult male mealybugs can fly, so I'm a little concerned they are in the same room. i've thrown away 3 infested plants so far, after treating and watching them slowly die, i took out the plant b4 throwing away and they are all clustered around the roots.

What’s the name of the plant with orange blooms?
Abutilon
cut and root the maculata!!!
i’m so early wtf
love you 💗
100% iso alchohol
70%
Freaking mealy bugs!!! I love when I put alcohol on them, and they turn orange! I hate them!!!!
While it looks cool...I would never plant anything in that small blue vase you purchased. Due to the shape...if the plant ever became overgrown...you'd never be able to get it out of the pot without breaking up the plant or the pot. I speak from experience.
Tht's a good point! Think it would be okay if I did a plant in a nursery pot & used it as a cover pot?
Mealy bugs are horrible!!!
Thanks for all contents and since you asked if we need anything :) yes please i need to know if I’m fertilizing my plant with different fertilizers during the month so how should i schedule and whats for the soil and whats for the leafs
