- This year, Taiwan is marking 25 years since the death of one of its most legendary singers, pop icon Teresa Teng. Her voice is still etched deep into the memories of those who grew up with her music.

I'm British and I fell in love with Teresa when I was serving in Hong Kong with the RAF in the early 80's and It's a love that's undiminished after all these years. I play her music almost every day as I travel to and from work and one day I plan to visit her tomb, the thought of being just a few feet away from her makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. A wonderful lady.
Gone but not forgotten. Teresa Teng will be remembered and loved forever.
A truly remarkable singer with a beautiful face and a beautiful voice.
