Loved this. Though you didn't explain the actual input timing on the focus dash and it's hard to tell on the keys since they are inputted so quickly and close together

used to [charge jump-cancel-jump-dash-jump] movement in NTBSS, and wired hook as well, looks like ntbss 2.0, good connection and battle system, just royale instead of flags-frags-bases. Aye man, just wanted to say I really appreciate this guide. Im a PS5 player and I truly want to get better in this game, and honestly it’s been a little difficult to figure out some things about combat and how to approach certain situations as well. But it’s also hard to tell what is still relevant in terms of combos, exploits, and techs since specific things I’m looking for says it was posted a year ago. But like I said thanks again and I’ll be looking forward to more videoes!! I would love to see a breed and butter combo vid for weapons (spear) and maybe best way to approach fights please.
Great video for beginners! I always tell new players these exact same things, I really notice even in a little bit higher ranks people are really not optimizing scale rushing enough. Now... what's the actual benefit of focus dashing? Is there anything else besides the movement? What happens when you're in that blue glow state during the dash?
hey man, new played, could u explain the difference between dodges, I see alot of ppl talking bout tap dodge, mid dodge and hold dodge what is this difference and how do i use them?
How did you do the double air dash after the scale rush in the obstacle course segment at the end? That looks like it conserves a ton of lateral momentum without losing much height. I think you are doing a dash into a focus slide into double jump, but I'm not sure of the specific inputs and I can't seem to get it to work. I can get one dash into double jump just fine, but I can't get a focus slide after, or even a charge attack at all, just normal air attack if anything.

I don't know if you will be reading this comment at all since it's been quite some time since this video was published but I'll give it a go regardless: I was wondering, at the beginning when you were fighting that Valda with ult, was it focus dash that you used to avoid her water spear or something else? It didn't look like tap dodge or hold but it had a relatively short dodge animation to side

When some1 grapple you if your are in blue focus you wont be staggered. Really useful for escape when trying to reset a fight
