We need the Sydney Olympic Park back as a venue for Supercars. There were so many epic races there and we need this excitement back... And it would be nice to have the chance for SVG to pin the medical car in the wall again :D...
You do realize they've been essentially 'silhouettes' for this entire period and still are today? Underneath they were all basically the same, all that changed was a few safety tweaks and more control parts to reduce costs.
@@Spyker8921 They didn't use road car bodyshells they used silhouette bodies (a bodyshell that LOOKS like the road car but has different dimensions to suit the category) if you look closely you'll see they all have wider doors and rear quarter panels and flared arches, the only actual road car parts are the light's. 'Supertouring' cars from the late 90's early 00's highlighted how hard it was to build a proper race car on a road car footprint. It's all an illusion.... Supercars is still the best motor racing category on Earth and that's coming from a Brit 👍
@@jamiepile2861 They used modified road car bodyshells, but they still started from a road car bodyshell, unlike today. They weren't silhouette bodies, they were factory steel road car bodyshells which were "cut and shut" to suit the project Blueprint dimensions.
