I really do enjoy the early war period. I have been intrigued with this system but have not pulled the trigger on it yet. I need to do some more research into the game and how well it plays solitaire. More videos on early war Sawyer! Also I can't help but notice this is not American Civil War!
Ah, I have a solo tutorial on my channel, if you have not see it yet. Here is the link to the playlist. th-cam.com/play/PL0R2fH2rRUntFrpulQrv60fdw-qVFfMhw.html As for how it plays, there is a lot and you need to like it really crunchy, but it is a step up from ASL tanks. Flow and play is better once comfortable with it.
More ACW is coming, big week in the Shenandoah with Early's retreat from Washington. Mulitple Union armies looking for him stumble upon him. Video's very shortly.
@@campsawyer Thanks for the link! I will give it a watch and see if this is the game for me. I am looking for a tactical squad level game to break up my usual larger level actions.
@@campsawyer Speaking of the ACW. I am finally sorting out the counters for Three Days of Gettysburg instead of tossing them in as corps size elements. Going to make it easier to set up and all that. I am going to try to play some TDOG this month I think.
@@nordicmaelstrom4714 One more point about Panzer, it is focused on tactical tanks so infantry is secondary. More like speed bumps for the tanks to run over :-) So there is bare bones infantry rules. Firepower is geared toward tanks, no leaders, but good support weapons. If I want an infantry focused game, I go to ASL starter kit.
