I want to try this but I'm not sure about one thing... when stitching them together, do you go through each gap on both sides or every other gap? I wasn't sure after watching this.

i'm the same way, i have to rest my arms a lot too but the more you practice it, even just by creating simple braids on different parts of your head at different heights, your arms get stronger with time.
Fuck my life I can't make my own hair that's why I just brush my hair and go to school like that and then my friends ask why i never do my hair if it's so long. I'm like: Do you think is easy to braid all this hair ahhh

This is my favorite style that you've done! I guess it's a perk that my hair is thick and luckily it's still long and I'm continuing to grow it out. I'll definitely have to try this before my mom makes me chop off my hair again.

So I just finished doing my hair like this (at 12 05am) and I learned a few things, how to dutch braid, your arms can be on fire without lifting weights, I enjoy doing hair and that I have thicker hair than I thought.
