안녕하세요 베니케이크입니다.
정말 오랜만에 또 영상으로 찾아뵙네요!
이번 영상은 체리로 데코한 빈티지케이크를 만들어봤어요^-^
지금까지 1호 사이즈 케이크 메이킹영상만 올렸었는데 이번엔 3호 사이즈로 크게 만들어봤답니다! 완성해서 보니 영상이 전반적으로 크리스마스 느낌도 나는 것 같네용ㅎㅎ 겉에는 크림치즈 크림이고 속은 메론을 넣어서 만들었는데 메론향이 향긋하게 나고 메론이 아삭아삭 씹혀서 좋았어요! 이번 영상도 재미있게 봐주세요

This video is truly a work of art in many ways. The cake itself is decorated beautifully. Not many cakes are decorated so expertly like that anymore. This video is supposed to be innocent and calming, however simple details such as lighting and music choice CHANGE THE ENTIRE VIBE for some people. This is proof that the human mind is a strange place. We are conditioned to feel a sense of fear and dread, from a cake decorating video. What the heck! The creepy part is unintentional, but can definently be recreated in other places. Who knew, true horror is usually more unintentional than intentional. A true work of art really!

I think the reason everyone is getting „horror movie vibes“ from this (apart from the music) is the lighting that makes really stark long shadows and the darker colour palette in general. It seems like it’s sunset or just the end of the day, which give it this „calm before the storm“ feeling.

This is simultaneously the most beautiful, innocent thing i've seen and also the most uncanny. Everything from the lighting to the no voiceover, the seemingly perfect skills of this mystery artist, even the words 'I cherish you' somehow all feel fake and uncanny. It's not really the vintage vibe, it's the side lighting with lack of bouncing light from the other side, it makes it look eerie for some people.
This time period was racist, war was tearing apart families, people would go missing and they’d just put them on milk cartons.

this is a very cute cake! however, my brain associates the lighting and music, when placed together, with a horror movie - it feels like a scene or part of a montage of a 50s movie about a serial killer. it's strange because these components would be fine separately, and this cake is extremely adorable, but when they're all placed together at once it feels eerie
Oh man, those times were something else! Even though I wasn't born then, watching old movies or period dramas, looking at the way they led life then... it makes me nostalgic for a time and place I never knew.

Here in Mexico there's a bakery that makes cakes like this and the frosting is unbelievably sweet and crunchy.
I'd say it's because the sugar crystalizes, but it really makes the experience much richer in my opinion.

I've never been this happy watching someone making a vintage designed cake.
This video exudes a creepy/horror yet nostalgic vibe and while everyone is freaking out I find it comforting.
It reminds me of those times when I could hang out with my grandma's house before my mom picked me up and we went to our own house, and normally she started yelling at me for no reason.

before even reading the comments the first thought that came to my head was "god, something about this feels fuzzy and nostalgic, and I feel very safe" and now looking at them everyone feels the same way LIKE YES YOU GUYS SEE IT TO. I feel like this era of beautifully decorated cakes, aesthetically pleasing finger foods and housewives defined an era of wholesome family dynamic when ironically, most of them had extremely dark or troubled history. 케이크도 엄청 잘만드는데 시대흐름 진짜 잘따라가시는거 같아요 다른케잌들은 그냥 똑같은 케이큰데 유독 썸넬이랑 분위기가ㅋㅋㅋ먼게 레트로같으면서도 힙함
디자인은 언제나 만족하는데 레터링케이크 맛도 좀만 더 신경써주셨으면 좋겠어욥~ㅠ_ㅜ 디자인을 너무 잘해주셔서 벌써 네번째 주문했는데..ㅠ 항상 이번은 다르겠지~ 생각하고 먹어보는데 오히려 점점ㅠ... 레터링 시트나 크림에 대한 변화가 있다면 진짜 더 더 좋을 것 같아요ㅠㅜㅠㅠ!!!

저를 포함해 지인들이 주문한 횟수까지 합하면 베니케이크에서 8회정도 주문했는데.. 저는 맛에 대한 만족을 하지못했고, 지인들도 그래서 나름.. 정말 베니케이크를 사랑하는 마음에 단거예요ㅠ.. 디자인은 언제나 트렌드가 바뀌지만 맛은 오래간다고 생각해서요

smild s 맛은 전부 취향이지만 저는 언제나 그렇게 느꼈어요... 그렇다고 막 못먹을 정도는 아니구요, 아무래도 케이크 전면에 크림이 많은데 시트나 안에 크림이 그렇게 달거나 꾸덕하다거나 첨가물이 있는 편이 아니라 먹으면 크림이랑 시트랑 전혀 조화가 안된다 해야하나ㅠ.... 그냥 다른 레터링케이크들보다 맛은 없어요 기대안하고 크림 벗겨내면 그나마 괜찮아요
근데 디자인이 너무너무 최고라 그냥 감수하고 시켰는데 맛도 다양해지고 시트도 바뀌면 더 좋을 것 같아요..
저는 3번째 주문했는데 늘 정말 맛있었어요! 특히 초코바나나 케이크가 정말 초코도 진하고 꾸덕해서 제 취향이었는뎅 ㅠㅠ 개인차이가 있겠지만 혹시나 안드신 분들이 이런글을보고 그냥 맛없다고 오해 안하셨으면 좋겠는 바램이..ㅠ
