I now have a target race for Flegmatik at Kempton. They either run him once more to lose to take an lb or two off, or they put him away for the race and run him off 137. I bet you know the race, I mean Ross.
I am keeping an eye on Flegmatik. I think the Skelton's are getting his mark down for a race. Kempton is a track he runs well at. What race? I don't know.
Ross, regarding the Hennessey weights: according to the racing post the minimum weight is 10-2, so 26lb below 12st. Would that not mean 139 would be basement weight if BMG takes his chance off 165? Have the RP got this listed incorrectly?
Cheers, RP and Timeform have it down as 12st but we shall see. On the novice chase mark not being moved if finishing behind a higher rated rival, can they still be lowered? And is this only in level weight races or in novice handicaps as well?
I wrote my Flegmatik comment before I got to where you talked about him. The headgear is interesting to look out for.

@ only in level weights novice races. And yes they can be dropped.
Nice one, thanks
I was disappointed with Under Control, non runner because the ground was too soft as well.
