This video got me PUMPED MAN!! I’m 51 years old and just bought my first boat a few weeks ago….and I’m super stoked!! It’s weird, because I live in Georgia and I’ve never wanted a boat…. Every country boy here has a bass boat, but that never interested me…. Always seemed like more of a headache…. But when I started renting small boats in Florida and taking them on the rivers into the ocean….. I was HOOOOKED and I didnt even see it coming! I just bought a little Scout Dorado 175 for now to learn on…. Hopefully I will be boating for many years to come!….I would love to get a trawler or house boat in the future too…. ‘Keep up the inspiring videos brother!!!

Nice video boss. The best thing I ever bought was my Boston Whaler 17 cc a month before the pandemic. There are times I wished I had a bigger boat, but it gets me and two buddies to the Coronado Islands for YT and quality rockfish. La Cove area too. I'll never sell that boat, hell no. Boats bring freedom and adventure to anyone in the sea.....

I upgraded from skiffs to my 2016 Parker 2320 well equipped and like you said, should’ve done it sooner. I will say the seaspension helm chair is a must in these forward cabin boats. #177.

Blackmans are good So Cal fishing platforms. I have a 26' flybridge with a VPenta 281 hp diesel hooked to a straight shaft. Great overnighter with over a 400 mile range. Get you to Tanner, Cortez and Clemente. Going to spend my retirement (soon) exploring the Channel Islands and trailering it south in May for pelagics. Love this boat-love your take-Start with a solid boat. This 91' is getting new electrronics. Great video.

My first boat, 2016 Parker 2300 DV Center console with Yamaha 250. (Bought on Oct 2021). It’s been 2 years, i did manage to catch 90lb last year but still not dialed in yet like you. Still learning and growing. Lol but i should have gotten it, when i was younger - im 50 now. 😂

You'd be surprised if you rig your sled up right. I got my 274 grady for 10k. 1999. Only about 28 were ever made. One of the rare diesel gradys. Engine alone is 38k. You put new electronics in it, radar, flir, 80gal bait tank, you get the right buyer that knows what's up, you'll get that coin. Especially if you're able to walk that buyer through everything you did. You aren't going to find a factory boat setup for so cal fishing. It might have some shit on it, but dialing it in, is worth it's weight in gold. But your average buyer doesnt know shit from their shoe when buying a boat. Much less the capabilities and features. Like Ralph, I've put in over 40k in my 10k investment. I could all day sell this grady for 100k if I choose to. But its so damn fishy, good luck buying it from me.
