Do any of the speaker mods have bluetooth? Or an aux input? Reason i'm asking is because I have the projector mod. Can I watch multimidea on the projector mod while using a speaker mod for the sound.
You used to be locked out of all the Echo features like Reminders and Messaging, but this weekend my Moto X4 just updated to allow all the features of the Echo. Does anyone with this smart speaker know if the Alexa Moto Mod got such an update as well? The X4 is a little old and slow for my tastes and the Moto Z3 while also a but old now, would be a decent upgrade as my daily driver if I can use Alexa.
Why don't they make Amazon smartwatch with Alexa built right in I mean I know they had the phone they had the Amazon phones which did not do well at all but the smart watch would be a good idea right
They do Guess watches are powered by Martian that use Alexa Also the Tommy Hilfiger hybrids use Martian also. Then of course there are Martian branded watches that have Alexa. Though IM NOT A FAN OF Martian .
The only reason to get this Alexa version is because it is FREE if you buy on Amazon using your Prime account and purchase the new Moto Z3 Play for $50 less than Moto's website. The new Z3 Play includes the Battery Mod. I hate Alexa. I could use the speaker to hear voicemails and calls. Definitely important.
Ya but the mod adds mics so that it can hear you better and that would be helpful if your using it as a stand alone Alexa. You can stand 3ft away and it wont respond
The jbl 2 is better because the Moto's onboard computer deos almost everything Alexa does but you can name it, Alexa is a stupid name. My friend bought it when I got the jbl 2 and he still barrows my jbl 1 mod because Alexa's useless carcass covers the camera. When shall I clap.

could the battery in the Alexa speaker be used as a back up to power the phone as well??
It works the same as the soundboost yes if your playing music or using Alexa

It covers up the camera. The JBL doesn't. My phone has Google assistant so I can't see getting this since I already have the JBL.

If your invested in Amazon and have Prime this could be a good investment . For example I have 4 light sockets that run off Alexa exclusively.
