    Just such wonderful information, thank you so much for creating and sharing all this amazingly rich history from good ole Kansas City... ( from the daughter of a guitarist in the 50's onwards who remembers the local sessions and Musician's Union and the rest.. ... yours truly, from a dancing daughter who still spread the love of jazz dance and blues,.. only in London :) can't wait to watch the rest of your series. and thanks again.

      @@thekansascityjazzorchestra623 I just came to the conclusion that jazz rhythmics are an spelling of the lyrics but played in a trumpet... So this video confirmed what I thought. Also, I think this detail is actually not just a detail but something that if you know, you are probably going to make swing everything you play!
      So, thank for this information!
